መዝሙር ፺፱

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ዘተጋንዮ ። የብቡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

   A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout for joy to Yahweh, all the earth.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ተቀንዩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በትፍሥሕት ፤ ወባኡ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ በሐሤት ።

   Serve Yahweh with gladness; and come before him with rejoicing.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ኣእምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አምላክነ ፤ ወውእቱ ፡ ፈጠረነ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ንሕነ ፡ ወንሕነሰ ፡ ሕዝቡ ፡ ወአባግዐ ፡ መርዔቱ ።

   Know that Yahweh, he is our God; he made us, and not we ourselves; and we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ባኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አናቅጺሁ ፡ በተጋንዮ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ አዕጻዲሁ ፡ በስብሐት ፤ እመንዎ ፡ ወሰብሑ ፡ ለስሙ ።

   Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; give thanks to him and bless his name.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ ኄር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ምሕረቱ ፤ ወለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ፡ ጽድቁ ።

   For Yahweh is good, for his mercy endures forever, and his faithfulness from generation to generation.
