መዝሙር ፺፰

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነግሠ ፡ ደንገፁ ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ ዘይነብር ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኪሩቤል ፡ አድለቅለቃ ፡ ለምድር ።

   A psalm of David. Yahweh reigns; let the nations tremble; he who sits upon the cherubim has made the earth to quake.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ በጽዮን ፤ ወልዑል ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ።

   Yahweh is great in Zion, and he is exalted above all the nations.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ኵሉ ፡ ይገኒ ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ዐቢይ ፤ እስመ ፡ ግሩም ፡ ወቅዱስ ፡ ውእቱ ።

   Let all give thanks to your great name, for it is terrible and holy.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ክቡር ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ያፈቅር ፤ አንተ ፡ አጽናዕካ ፡ ለጽድቅ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ወጽድቀ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ አንተ ፡ ገበርከ ።

   A glorious king loves justice; you have established equity; justice and righteousness in Jacob you have wrought.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ተለዐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈጣሪነ ፡ ወይሰግዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ መከየደ ፡ እገሪሁ ፤ እስመ ፡ ቅዱሳን ፡ እሙንቱ ።

   Exalt Yahweh our Maker, and worship at the footstool of his feet, for they are holy.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ በክህነቶሙ ፡ ወሳሙኤልኒ ፡ ምስለ ፡ እለ ፡ ይጼውዑ ፡ ስሞ ፤ ይጼውዕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወውእቱኒ ፡ ይሰጠዎሙ ።

   Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among those who call upon his name, called upon Yahweh, and he answered them.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ወይትናገሮሙ ፡ በዐምደ ፡ ደመና ፤ ወየዐቅቡ ፡ ስምዖ ፡ ወትእዛዞሂ ፡ ዘወሀቦሙ ።

   And he spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; and they kept his testimonies and the commandment that he gave them.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እግዚኦ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ አንተ ፡ ሰማዕኮሙ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ አንተ ፡ ተሣህልኮሙ ፡ ወትትቤቀል ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምግባሮሙ ።

   O Yahweh our God, you answered them; O Yahweh, you were merciful to them, and you take vengeance on all their doings.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ተለዐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወይሰግዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ መቅደሱ ፤ እስመ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ።

   Exalt Yahweh our God, and worship at the mountain of his sanctuary, for Yahweh our God is holy.
