መዝሙር ፺፭

1. Verse 1.፩

   ዘአመ ፡ ተሐንጸ ፡ ቤት ፡ ዘእምድኅረ ፡ ፂዋዌ ፤ ማኅሌት ፡ ዘዳዊት ። ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ ሐዲሰ ፤ ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵላ ፡ ምድር ።

   Of when the house was built after the captivity; a song, of David. Sing to Yahweh a new song; sing to Yahweh, all the earth.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወባርኩ ፡ ለስሙ ፤ ወተዘያነዉ ፡ እምዕለት ፡ ዕለተ ፡ አድኅኖቶ ።

   Sing to Yahweh and bless his name; proclaim from day to day his salvation.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወንግርዎሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ፤ ወለኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ተኣምሪሁ ።

   And declare among the nations his glory, and among all the peoples his wonders.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እስመ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወብዙኅ ፡ አኰቴቱ ፤ ወግሩም ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አማልክት ።

   For Yahweh is great and his praise is abundant; and he is terrible above all gods.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ አጋንንት ፤ ወእግዚአብሔርሰ ፡ ሰማያተ ፡ ገብረ ።

   For the gods of the nations are demons, but Yahweh made the heavens.

6. Verse 6.፮

   አሚን ፡ ወሠናይት ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፤ ቅድሳት ፡ ወዕበየ ፡ ስብሐት ፡ ውስተ ፡ መቅደሱ ።

   Thanksgiving and beauty are before him; holiness and the greatness of glory are in his sanctuary.

7. Verse 7.፯

   አምጽኡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በሓውርተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ አምጽኡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ክብረ ፡ ወስብሓተ ።

   Bring to Yahweh, you kindreds of the nations; bring to Yahweh honor and glory.

8. Verse 8.፰

   አምጽኡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ ለስሙ ፤ ንሥኡ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ወባኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አዕጻዲሁ ።

   Bring to Yahweh the glory due to his name; take up an offering and enter into his courts.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ስግዱ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በዐጸደ ፡ መቅደሱ ፤ ታድለቀልቅ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጹ ፡ ኵላ ፡ ምድር ።

   Worship Yahweh in the court of his sanctuary; let all the earth tremble before his face.

10. Verse 10.፲

    በልዎሙ ፡ ለኣሕዛብ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነግሠ ፡ ወአጽንዓ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢታንቀልቅል ፤ ወይኴንኖሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ በርትዕ ።

    Say among the nations that Yahweh reigns and has established the world that it shall not be moved; and he shall judge the nations with equity.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ይትፌሥሓ ፡ ሰማያት ፡ ወትትሐሠይ ፡ ምድር ፤ ወትትከወስ ፡ ባሕር ፡ በምልኣ ።

    Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea be stirred in its fullness.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ትትሐሠይ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ፤ ውእቱ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይትፌሥሑ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ገዳም ።

    Let the wilderness rejoice, and all that is in it; then shall all the trees of the wilderness exult

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    እምቅድመ ፡ ገጹ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ይመጽእ ፡ ወይመጽእ ፡ ወይኴንና ፡ ለምድር ፤ ወይኴንና ፡ ለዓለም ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ወለአሕዛብኒ ፡ በርትዕ ።

    before the face of Yahweh, for he comes; he comes to judge the earth; and he shall judge the world in righteousness, and the nations with equity.
