መዝሙር ፺፩

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ በዓለተ ፡ ሰንበት ።

   A psalm, a song, for the day of the Sabbath.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ይኄይስ ፡ ተአምኖ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፤ ወዘምሮ ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ልዑል ።

   It is good to give thanks to Yahweh, and to sing praises to your name, O Most High;

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወነጊረ ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፤ ወጽድቅከኒ ፡ በሌሊት ።

   and to declare your mercy in the morning, and your faithfulness by night,

4. Verse 4.፬

   በዘዐሠርቱ ፡ አውታሪሁ ፡ መዝሙረ ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ ወመሰንቆ ።

   upon the ten strings, a psalm of song, and with the harp.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ አስተፈሣሕከኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ በምግባሪከ ፤ ወእትሐሠይ ፡ በግብረ ፡ እደዊከ ።

   For you have made me glad, O Yahweh, in your work, and I will rejoice in the work of your hands.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ጥቀ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ ግብርከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወፈድፋደ ፡ ዕሙቅ ፡ ሕሊናከ ።

   Exceedingly great is your work, O Yahweh, and very deep is your thought.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ብእሲ ፡ አብድ ፡ ኢያአምር ፤ ወዘአልቦ ፡ ልበ ፡ ኢይሌብዎ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡፡

   A foolish man does not know, and one who has no heart does not understand this.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ሶበ ፡ ይበቍሉ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ ከመ ፡ ሣዕር ፡ ወይሠርጹ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዐመፃ ፤ ከመ ፡ ይሠረዉ ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤

   When sinners spring up like grass, and all the workers of iniquity sprout, it is that they may be destroyed forever and ever;

9. Verse 9.፱

   ወአንተሰ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ለዓለም ፡ እግዚኦ ።

   but you, O Yahweh, are most high forever.

10. Verse 10.፲

    እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ጸላእትከ ፡ ይትሐጐሉ ፤ ወይዘረዉ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዐመፃ ።

    For behold, your enemies shall perish, and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ወይትሌዐል ፡ ቀርንየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘአሐዱ ፡ ቀርኑ ፤ ወይጠልል ፡ በቅብእ ፡ ሲበትየ ።

    And my horn shall be exalted like that of a unicorn, and I shall be anointed with fresh oil in my old age.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ወርእየት ፡ ዐይንየ ፡ በጸላእትየ ፡ ወሰምዐት ፡ እዝንየ ፡ ዲቤሆሙ ፡ ለእኩያን ፡ እለ ፡ ቆሙ ፡ ላዕሌየ ።

    And my eye has looked upon my enemies, and my ear has heard concerning the wicked who rose up against me.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ጻድቅከ ፡ ከመ ፡ በቀልት ፡ ይፈሪ ፤ ወይበዝኅ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘግባ ፡ ዘሊባኖስ ።

    Your righteous one shall flourish like a palm tree, and shall increase like the cedar of Lebanon.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    ትኩላን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወይበቍሉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዐጸዱ ፡ ለአምላክነ ።

    Planted are they in the house of Yahweh, and they shall flourish in the courts of our God.

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    ውእቱ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይበዝኁ ፡ በርሥኣን ፡ ጥሉል ፤ ወይከውኑ ፡ ዕሩፋነ ።

    Even then they shall multiply in fertile fatness, and they shall be at rest,

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    ወይነግሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፤ ወአልቦ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ በኀቤሁ ።

    and they shall declare that Yahweh our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.
