መዝሙር ፹፮

1. Verse 1.፩

   ዘደቂቀ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ማኅሌት ።

   Of the sons of Korah; a psalm, a song.

2. Verse 2.፪

   መሰረታቲሃ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባር ፡ ቅዱሳን ። ያበድሮን ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአንቅጸ ፡ ጽዮን ፤ እምኵሉ ፡ ተዓይኒሁ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ።

   Her foundations are upon the holy mountains. Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ነኪር ፡ ነገሩ ፡ በእንቲአኪ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   Glorious things are spoken concerning you, O city of Yahweh.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እዜክሮን ፡ ለራአብ ፡ ወለባቢሎን ፡ እለ ፡ ያአምራኒ ፤ ወናሁ ፡ አሎፍሊ ፡ ወጢሮስ ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ፤ እለ ፡ ተወልዱ ፡ በህየ ።

   I will make mention of Rahab and of Babylon among those who know me; and behold, the Philistines and Tyre and the people of Ethiopia, who were born there.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እምነ ፡ ጽዮን ፡ ይብል ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወብእሲ ፡ ተወልደ ፡ በውስቴታ ፤ ወወእቱ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ሳረራ ።

   Of Zion a man shall say, “A man, even a man, was born in her”; and the Most High himself has founded her.

6. Verse 6.፮

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይነግሮሙ ፡ ለሕዝቡ ፡ በመጽሐፍ ፤ ወለመላእክቲሁኒ ፡ እለ ፡ ተወልዱ ፡ በውስቴታ ።

   Yahweh shall recount of his people in the writing, and of his princes who were born in her.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ከመ ፡ ፍሡሓን ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስቴትኪ ።

   As of those rejoicing are all who dwell in you.
