መዝሙር ፹፭

1. Verse 1.፩

   ጸሎት ፡ ዘዳዊት ። አፅምእ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ እዝነከ ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ወስምዐኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ነዳይ ፡ ወምስኪን ፡ አነ ።

   A prayer of David. Incline your ear, O Yahweh, to me, and hear me, for I am poor and needy.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ዕቀባ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፡ እስመ ፡ የዋህ ፡ አን ፤ አድኅኖ ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ ዘተወከለ ፡ ኪያከ ።

   Preserve my soul, for I am godly; save your servant, O my God, who trusts in you.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ተሣሀለኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ እጸርኅ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ።

   Have mercy on me, O Yahweh, for to you I cry all the day.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ወአስተፈሥሓ ፡ ለነፍሰ ፡ ገብርከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ አንቃዕደውኩ ፡ ነፍስየ ።

   Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you I lift up my soul.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ መሓሪ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወመስተሣህል ፤ ወብዙኅ ፡ ሣህልከ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይጼውዑከ ።

   For you, O Yahweh, are kind and forgiving, and abundant in mercy to all who call upon you.

6. Verse 6.፮

   አፅምእ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ጸሎትየ ፤ ወነጽር ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለትየ ።

   Give ear, O Yahweh, to my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplication.

7. Verse 7.፯

   በዕለተ ፡ ምንዳቤየ ፡ ጸራኅኩ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰማዕከኒ ።

   In the day of my distress I cried out, for you have heard me.

8. Verse 8.፰

   አልቦ ፡ ዘይመስለከ ፡ እምነ ፡ አማልክት ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘከመ ፡ ምግባሪከ ።

   There is none like you among the gods, O Yahweh, and there is nothing like your works.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ገበርከ ፡ ይምጽኡ ፡ ወይስግዱ ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወይሰብሑ ፡ ለስምከ ።

   All the nations that you have made shall come and worship before you, O Yahweh, and shall glorify your name.

10. Verse 10.፲

    እስመ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወትገብር ፡ መንክረ ፤ አንተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ዐቢይ ።

    For you are great and do wondrous things; you, O Yahweh, alone are great.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ምርሐኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ፍኖተከ ፡ ወእሖር ፡ በጽድቅከ ፤ ይትፌሣሕኒ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ለፈሪሀ ፡ ስምከ ።

    Guide me, O Yahweh, in your way, and I will walk in your truth; let my heart rejoice to fear your name.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    እገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብየ ፡ አምላኪየ ፤ ወእሴብሕ ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ለዓለም ።

    I will give thanks to you, O Yahweh, with all my heart, O my God, and I will glorify your name forever.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    እስመ ፡ ዐብየት ፡ ምሕረትከ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፤ ወአድኀንካ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፡ እምሲኦል ፡ ታሕቲት ።

    For your mercy toward me is great, and you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    አምላኪየ ፡ ዐማፅያን ፡ ቆሙ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ወማኅበረ ፡ እኩያን ፡ ኀሠሥዋ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፤ ወኢረሰዩከ ፡ ቅድሜሆሙ ።

    O my God, the lawless have risen up against me, and a band of the wicked have sought my soul; and they have not set you before them.

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    ወአንተሰ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ መሓሪ ፡ ወመስተሣህል ፤ ርሑቀ ፡ መዐት ፡ ወብዙኀ ፡ ምሕረት ፡ ወጻድቅ ።

    But you, O Yahweh, are merciful and forgiving, slow to anger and abundant in mercy and righteous.

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    ነጽር ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ወተሣሀለኒ ፤ ሀቦ ፡ ኀይለ ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ ወአድኅኖ ፡ ለወልደ ፡ አመትከ ።

    Look upon me and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your handmaid.

17. Verse 17.፲፯

    ግበር ፡ ምስሌነ ፡ ትእምርተ ፡ ለሠናይ ፤ ወይርአዩ ፡ ጸላእትነ ፡ ወይትኀፈሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ረዳእከነ ፡ ወአስተፈሣሕከነ ።

    Work for us a sign for good, that our enemies may see it and be ashamed, because you, O Yahweh, have helped us and comforted us.
