- Verse 1.
ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘደቂቀ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ጸሎት ፡ ዘዳዊት ።
To the end, for the sons of Korah, a psalm, a prayer of David.
- Verse 2.
ተሣሀልከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ምድረከ ፤ ወሜጥከ ፡ ፄዋሁ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ።
You have been gracious, O Yahweh, to your land; and you have turned back the captivity of Jacob.
- Verse 3.
ወኀደገ ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፤ ወከደንከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ አበሳሆሙ ።
And you have forgiven the iniquity of your people; you have covered all their sins.
- Verse 4.
ወኀደገ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ መዐትከ ። ወሜጥከ ፡ መቅሠፍተ ፡ መዐተከ ።
And you have put away all your wrath; you have turned back the chastisement of your wrath.
- Verse 5.
ሚጠነ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወመድኀኒነ ፤ ወሚጥ ፡ መዐተከ ፡ እምኔነ ።
Turn us again, O God our Savior, and turn your anger away from us.
- Verse 6.
ወለዓለምሰ ፡ ኢትትመዐዐነ ። ወኢታኑኅ ፡ መዐተከ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።
And will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your wrath from generation to generation?
- Verse 7.
አንተ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ተመየጠነ ፡ ወኣሕይወነ ፤ ወሕዝብከኒ ፡ ይትፌሥሑ ፡ ብከ ።
You, O our God, turn us again and revive us, and your people shall rejoice in you.
- Verse 8.
አርእየነ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ሣህለከ ፤ ወሀበነ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ አድኅኖተከ ።
Show us your mercy, O Yahweh, and grant us your salvation, O our God.
- Verse 9.
ኣፀምእ ፡ ዘይነበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኪየ ፤ እስመ ፡ ይነብብ ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሕዝቡ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ጻድቃኑ ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ እለ ፡ ይመይጡ ፡ ልቦሙ ፡ ኀቤሁ ።
I will hear what Yahweh my God speaks within me; for he speaks peace to his people, to his righteous ones, and to those who turn their heart to him.
- Verse 10.
ወባሕቱ ፡ ቅሩብ ፡ አድኅኖቱ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይፈርህዎ ፤ ከመ ፡ ይኅድር ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድርነ ።
Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
- Verse 11.
ሣህል ፡ ወርትዕ ፡ ተራከባ ፤ ጽድቅ ፡ ወሰላም ፡ ተሳዐማ ።
Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
- Verse 12.
ርትዕሰ ፡ እምድር ፡ ሠረጸት ፤ ወጽድቅኒ ፡ እምሰማይ ፡ ሐወጸ ።
Truth has sprung up out of the earth, and righteousness has looked down from heaven.
- Verse 13.
ወእግዚአብሔርኒ ፡ ይሁብ ፡ ምሕረቶ ፤ ወምድርኒ ፡ ትሁብ ፡ ፍሬሃ ።
And Yahweh will give his mercy, and our land will yield its fruit.
- Verse 14.
ጽድቅ ፡ የሐውር ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፤ ወየኀድግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ አሰሮ ።
Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps upon the way.
