መዝሙር ፹፫

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ማኅበብት ፤ ዘደቂቀ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ መዝሙር ።

   To the end, concerning the winepresses [maḥbabt]; for the sons of Korah, a psalm.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ጥቅ ፡ ፍቁር ፡ አብያቲከ ፡ እግዚአ ፡ ኀያላን ።

   How beloved are your dwellings, O Yahweh of hosts!

3. Verse 3.፫

   ተፈሥሐት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ በአፍቅሮ ፡ አዕጻዲከ ፡ እግዚኦ ። ልብየኒ ፡ ወሥጋየኒ ፡ ተፈሥሐ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፡ ሕያው ።

   My soul has rejoiced in longing for your courts, O Yahweh; my heart and my flesh have rejoiced in the living God.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ዖፍኒ ፡ ረከበት ፡ ላቲ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ወማዕነቅኒ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ታነብር ፡ እጐሊሃ ፤ ምሥዋዒከ ፡ እግዚአ ፡ ኀያላን ፡ ንጉሥየኒ ፡ ወአምላኪየኒ ።

   For even the sparrow has found herself a house, and the turtledove a nest where she may lay her young: your altars, O Yahweh of hosts, my King and my God.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ብፁዓን ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤትከ ፤ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፡ ይሴብሑከ ።

   Blessed are all who dwell in your house; they will praise you forever and ever.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ብፁዕ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘእምኀቤከ ፡ ረድኤቱ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወዘይሔሊ ፡ በልቡ ፡ ዘበላዕሉ ።

   Blessed is the man whose help is from you, O Yahweh, and who meditates in his heart on the things above.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ውስተ ፡ ቈላተ ፡ ብካይ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሠራዕኮሙ ፤ እስመ ፡ መምህረ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ይሁብ ፡ በረከተ ።

   In the valley of weeping, in the place that you have appointed for them; for the teacher of the law gives a blessing.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወይሐውር ፡ እምኀይል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኀይል ፤ ወያስተርኢ ፡ አምላከ ፡ አማልክት ፡ በጽዮን ።

   And he goes from strength to strength, and the God of gods appears in Zion.

9. Verse 9.፱

   እግዚኦ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ኀያላን ፡ ስምዐኒ ፡ ጸሎትየ ፤ ወአፅምአኒ ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ።

   O Yahweh, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ወርእየኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ተአምኖትየ ፤ ወነጽር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ገጸ ፡ መሲሕከ ።

    Behold, O Yahweh, my faithfulness, and look upon the face of your anointed.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    እስመ ፡ ትኄይስ ፡ አሐቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ውስተ ፡ አዕጻዲከ ፡ እምአእላፍ ፤ አብደርኩ ፡ እትገደፍ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እምእንበር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ኃጥኣን ።

    For one day in your courts is better than thousands; I have chosen to be cast down at the house of God rather than to dwell in the house of the wicked.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    እስመ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ወምጽዋተ ፡ ያበድር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይሁብ ፡ ክብረ ፡ ወሞገሰ ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢያስተጼንሶሙ ፡ እምበረከቱ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይሐውሩ ፡ በየዋሃት ።

    For Yahweh prefers righteousness and mercy; Yahweh gives honor and grace; Yahweh will not withhold his blessings from those who walk in uprightness.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    እግዚኦ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ኀያለን ፤ ብፁዕ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘተወከለ ፡ ኪያከ ።

    O Yahweh, God of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
