መዝሙር ፹፪

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ።

   A song, a psalm of Asaph.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እግዚኦ ፡ መኑ ፡ ከማከ ፤ ኢታርምም ፡ ወኢትጸመም ፡ እግዚኦ ።

   O Yahweh, who is like you? Be not silent, and be not still, O Yahweh.

3. Verse 3.፫

   እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ወውዑ ፡ ፀርከ ፤ ወአንሥኡ ፡ ርእሶሙ ፡ ጸላእትከ ።

   For behold, your enemies make a tumult, and those who hate you have lifted up their head.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ወተጓሕለውዎሙ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፤ ወተማከሩ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ቅዱሳኒከ ።

   They have craftily devised a plot against your people, and have taken counsel against your holy ones.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ወይቤሉ ፡ ንዑ ፡ ንሥርዎሙ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፤ ወኢይዝክሩ ፡ እንከ ፡ ስመ ፡ እስራኤል ።

   They have said, Come, let us cut them off from being a nation, and let the name of Israel be remembered no more.

6. Verse 6.፮

   እስመ ፡ ተማከሩ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ወዐረዩ ፤ ላዕሌከ ፡ ተሰካተዩ ፡ ወተካየዱ ።

   For they have taken counsel together with one accord; against you they have made a pact and a covenant:

7. Verse 7.፯

   ተዓይኒሆሙ ፡ ለኢዶምያስ ፡ ወለእስማኤላውያን ፤ ሞአብ ፡ ወአጋራውያን ።

   the tents of Edom and of the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,

8. Verse 8.፰

   ጌባል ፡ ወአሞን ፡ ወአማሌቅ ፤ ወአሎፍሊ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ጢሮስ ።

   Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, and the Philistines with the people of Tyre.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ወአሶርሂ ፡ ኀበረ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፤ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ ረድኤተ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ሎጥ ።

   And Assyria too has joined with them; they have become a help to the children of Lot.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ምድያም ፡ ወሲሳራ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ኢያቤስ ፡ በፈለገ ፡ ቂሶን ።

    Do to them as to Midian and Sisera, and as to Jabin at the river Kishon.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ወይሠረዉ ፡ ከመ ፡ እለ ፡ እንዶር ፤ ወይኩኑ ፡ ከመ ፡ መሬተ ፡ ምድር ።

    They were destroyed like those at Endor, and became as the dung of the earth.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ረስዮሙ ፡ ለመላእክቲሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሆሬብ ፡ ወዜብ ፤ ወዜብሄል ፡ ወሰልማና ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ መላእክቲሆሙ ።

    Make their princes like Oreb and Zeeb, and Zebah and Zalmunna, and all their princes,

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    እለ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ንወርስ ፡ ምስዋዒሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

    who say, Let us take for ourselves the sanctuary of Yahweh.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    አምላኪየ ፡ ረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ መንኰራኵር ፤ ወከመ ፡ ሣዕር ፡ ዘቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ እሳት ።

    O my God, make them like a whirling wheel, and like stubble before the face of the fire,

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    ወከመ ፡ እሳት ፡ ዘያውዒ ፡ ገዳመ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ነበልባል ፡ ዘያነድድ ፡ አድባረ ።

    and like fire that burns up the wilderness, and like a flame that sets the mountains ablaze.

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    ከማሁ ፡ ስድዶሙ ፡ በዐውሎከ ፤ ወሁኮሙ ፡ በመቅሠፍትከ ።

    So pursue them with your tempest, and trouble them with your scourge.

17. Verse 17.፲፯

    ምላእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ኀሳረ ፤ ወያእምሩ ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

    Fill their faces with shame, and let them know your name, O Yahweh.

18. Verse 18.፲፰

    ይትኀፈሩ ፡ ወይትሀወኩ ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወይኅሰሩ ፡ ወይትሐጐሉ ።

    Let them be ashamed and troubled forever and ever; let them be confounded and perish.

19. Verse 19.፲፱

    ወያእምሩ ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ከመ ፡ አንተ ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

    And let them know your name, O Yahweh, that you alone are Most High over all the earth.
