መዝሙር ፹፩

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ። እግዚአብሔር ፡ ቆመ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማኅበረ ፡ አማልክት ፤ ወይኴንን ፡ በማእከለ ፡ አማልክት ።

   A psalm of Asaph. Yahweh stood in the assembly of the gods, and he judges in the midst of the gods.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እስከ ፡ ማእዜኑ ፡ ትኴንኑ ፡ ዐመፃ ፤ ወታደልዉ ፡ ለገጸ ፡ ኃጥአን ።

   How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the persons of the wicked?

3. Verse 3.፫

   ፍትሑ ፡ ለነዳይ ፡ ወለእጓለ ፡ ማውታ ፤ ወአጽድቁ ፡ ግፉዐ ፡ ወምስኪነ ።

   Do justice for the poor and for the orphan; vindicate the oppressed and the needy.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ወአድኅኑ ፡ ባሕታዌ ፡ ወጽኑሰ ፤ ወአንግፍዎሙ ፡ እምእደ ፡ ኃጥአን ።

   Deliver the destitute and the weak; rescue them from the hand of the wicked.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ኢያእመሩ ፡ ወኢለበዉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽልመት ፡ የሐውሩ ፤ ወያድለቀልቁ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ መሰረታተ ፡ አድባር ።

   They did not know nor understand; they walk in darkness; all the foundations of the mountains are shaken.

6. Verse 6.፮

   አንሰ ፡ እቤ ፡ አማልክት ፡ አንትሙ ፤ ወደቂቀ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ኵልክሙ ፡

   I said, You are gods, and all of you sons of the Most High;

7. Verse 7.፯

   አንትሙሰ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ትመውቱ ፤ ወከመ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ እመላእክት ፡ ትወድቁ ።

   but you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ተንሥእ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወኰንና ፡ ለምድር ፤ እስመ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትወርስ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ።

   Arise, O Yahweh, and judge the earth, for you shall inherit among all the nations.
