መዝሙር ፰

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ በእንተ ፡ መክብብት ፤ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።

   For the end, concerning the winepresses; a psalm of David.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እግዚኦ ፡ እግዚእነ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ተሰብሐ ፡ ስምክ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፤

   O Yahweh our Lord, how greatly is your name glorified in all the earth;

3. Verse 3.፫

   እስመ ፡ ተለዐለ ፡ እበየ ፡ ስብሓቲከ ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ ሰማያት ።

   for the greatness of your majesty has been exalted above the heavens.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እምአፈ ፡ ደቂቅ ፡ ወሕፃናት ፡ አስተዳሉከ ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ጸላኢ ፤ ከመ ፡ ትንሥቶ ፡ ለጸላኢ ፡ ወለገፋዒ ።

   Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have prepared praise, because of the enemy, that you may put down the enemy and the avenger.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ ንሬኢ ፡ ሰማያተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ አጻብዒከ ፤ ወርኀ ፡ ወከዋክብተ ፡ ዘለሊከ ፡ ሳረርከ ።

   For I behold the heavens, the work of your fingers; the moon and the stars, which you yourself have established.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ምንትኑ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትዝክሮ ፤ ወምንትኑ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ከመ ፡ ተሐውጾ ።

   What is man, that you remember him? And what is the son of man, that you visit him?

7. Verse 7.፯

   ሕቀ ፡ አሕጸጽኮ ፡ እምላእክቲከ ፤ ክብረ ፡ ወስብሐተ ፡ ከለልኮ ። ወሢምኮ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደዊከ ፤

   You made him a little lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honour. And you have set him over all the works of your hands;

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወኵሎ ፡ አግረርከ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ እገሪሁ ። አባግዐኒ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ አልህምተ ፤ ወዓዲ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘገዳም ።

   and you have put all things in subjection under his feet: the sheep, and all the oxen, and moreover the beasts of the field;

9. Verse 9.፱

   አዕዋፈ ፡ ሰማይኒ ፡ ወዐሣተ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወዘኒ ፡ የሐውር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ባሕር ።

   the birds of the air also, and the fishes of the sea, and whatever passes along the paths of the sea.

10. Verse 10.፲

    እግዚኦ ፡ እግዚእነ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ተሰብሐ ፡ ስምከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

    O Yahweh our Lord, how greatly is your name glorified in all the earth.
