መዝሙር ፸፮

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኢዶቱም ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ።

   To the end, concerning Jeduthun; a psalm of Asaph.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ቃልየ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጸራኅኩ ፤ ቃልየ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአፅምአኒ ።

   With my voice I cried out to Yahweh; with my voice to Yahweh, and he gave ear to me.

3. Verse 3.፫

   በዕለተ ፡ ምንደቤየ ፡ ኀሠሥክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ እደውየ ፡ ሌሊተ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ወኢኬዱኒ ፤

   In the day of my affliction I sought out Yahweh; my hands by night were stretched out before him, and they did not grow weary;

4. Verse 4.፬

   ቀብጸት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ትፍሥሕተ ። ተዘከርክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወተፈሣሕኩ ፤ ተዛዋዕኩሂ ፡ ወዐንበዘት ፡ ነፍስየ ።

   My soul refused to be comforted. I remembered Yahweh and was glad; I mused, and my spirit grew faint.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ተራከብክዎን ፡ ለሰዓታተ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ጸላእትየ ፤ ደንገፅኩሂ ፡ ወኢነበብኩ ።

   I came upon the watches, [and] all my enemies; I was dismayed and did not speak.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወሐለይኩ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ትካት ፤ ወተዘከርኩ ፡ ዐመተ ፡ ዓለም ፡ ወአንበብኩ ።

   And I pondered the days of old; and I remembered the years of eternity, and I meditated.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ሌሊተ ፡ ተዛዋዕኩ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ወአንቃክህዋ ፡ ለነፍስየ ።

   By night I communed with my heart, and I awakened my spirit.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ቦኑ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ይገድፍ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወኢይደግምኑ ፡ እንከ ፡ ተሣህሎ ።

   Will Yahweh cast off forever? And will he no more again show his favor?

9. Verse 9.፱

   ቦኑ ፡ ለግሙራ ፡ ይመትር ፡ ምሕረቶ ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።

   Will he forever cut off his mercy, from generation to generation?

10. Verse 10.፲

    ወይረስዕኑ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ተሣህሎ ፤ ወይደፍንኑ ፡ ምሕረቶ ፡ በመዐቱ ።

    And will Yahweh forget his graciousness? And will he shut up his mercy in his wrath?

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ወእቤ ፡ እምይእዜ ፡ ወጠንኩ ፤ ከመዝ ፡ ያስተባሪ ፡ የማኖ ፡ ልዑል ።

    And I said, Now have I begun; thus does the right hand of the Most High change.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ወተዘከርኩ ፡ ግብሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ እስመ ፡ እዜከር ፡ ዘትካት ፡ ምሕረትከ ።

    And I remembered the works of Yahweh; for I will remember your mercy from of old.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ወኣነብብ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምግባሪከ ፤ ወእዛዋዕ ፡ በግብርከ ።

    And I will meditate on all your works; and I will commune of your deeds.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    እግዚኦ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መቅደስ ፡ ፍኖትከ ፤ መኑ ፡ አምላክ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ ከመ ፡ አምላክነ ።

    O Yahweh, your way is in the sanctuary; what god is great like our God?

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    አንተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ዘትገብር ፡ መንክረ ፤ አርአይኮሙ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፡ ኀያለከ ።

    You, Yahweh, you alone do marvels; you have made known your might among the peoples.

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    ወአድኀንኮሙ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፡ በመዝራዕትከ ፤ ለደቂቀ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወዮሴፍ ።

    And you redeemed your people by your arm; the children of Jacob and of Joseph.

17. Verse 17.፲፯

    ርእዩከ ፡ ማያት ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ርእዩከ ፡ ማያት ፡ ወፈርሁ ። ደንገፁ ፡ ቀላያት ፡ ማያት ፡ ወደምፁ ፡ ማያቲሆሙ ።

    The waters saw you, O Yahweh; the waters saw you and were afraid. The depths were troubled; the multitude of waters gave forth their sound.

18. Verse 18.፲፰

    ቃለ ፡ ወሀቡ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ወአሕፃከ ፡ ያወፅኡ ።

    The clouds gave forth a voice; and your arrows go out.

19. Verse 19.፲፱

    ቃለ ፡ ነጐድጓድከ ፡ በሰረገላት ፤ አስተርአየ ፡ መባርቅቲሁ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ ርዕደት ፡ ወአድለቅለቀት ፡ ምድር ።

    The voice of your thunder was in the wheels; your lightnings appeared to the world; the earth trembled and quaked.

20. Verse 20.፳

    ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ፍኖትከ ፡ ወአሰርከኒ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ብዙኅ ፤ ወኢይትዐወቅ ፡ አሰርከ ።

    Your way is in the sea, and your path in many waters; and your footsteps are not known.

21. Verse 21.፳፩

    ወመራሕኮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አባግዕ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፤ በእደ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ።

    And you led your people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
