መዝሙር ፸፭

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘስብሐት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ አሶርዮን ።

   To the end, with praise; a psalm of Asaph, a song concerning the Assyrian.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ተዐውቀ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በይሁዳ ፤ ወዐቢይ ፡ ስሙ ፡ በእስራኤል ።

   Yahweh is known in Judah; and great is his name in Israel.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወነበረ ፡ በሰላም ፡ ብሔሩ ፤ ወማኅደሩሂ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽዮን ።

   And his place is established in peace; and his dwelling is in Zion.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ወበህየ ፡ ሰበረ ፡ ኀይለ ፡ ቀስት ፤ ወልታ ፡ ወኲናተ ፡ ወፀባኢተ ። [ወብህየ ፡ ሰበረ ፡ አቅርንተ ።]

   And there he broke the strength of the bow, the shield and the spear and the warriors. [And there he broke the horns.]

5. Verse 5.፭

   አንተ ፡ ታበርህ ፡ ምንክረ ፤ እምአድባር ፡ ዘለዓለም ። ደንገፁ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አብዳነ ፡ ልብ ፡

   You give light marvelously from the everlasting mountains. All the fools of heart were terrified;

6. Verse 6.፮

   ሐለሙ ፡ ሕልመ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘረከቡ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ለብዕለ ፡ እደዊሁ ።

   They dreamed their dream, and all the men of riches found nothing in their hands.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እምተግሣጽከ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፤ ደቀሱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይጼአኑ ፡ አፍራሰ ።

   At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, all who mount horses fell into slumber.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወአንተሰ ፡ ግሩም ፡ አንተ ፤ ወመኑ ፡ ይትቃወሞ ፡ ለመዐትከ ።

   But you, you are terrible; and who shall stand against your wrath?

9. Verse 9.፱

   እምሰማይ ፡ ታፀምእ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ምድርኒ ፡ ፈርሀት ፡ ወአርመመት ።

   From heaven you cause judgment to be heard; the earth feared and was still,

10. Verse 10.፲

    ሶበ ፡ ተንሥአ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኰንኖ ፤ ከመ ፡ ያድኅኖሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ የዋሀነ ፡ ልብ ።

    When Yahweh arose to judge, to save all the meek of heart.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    እስመ ፡ እምፈቃዱ ፡ የአምነከ ፡ ሰብእ ፤ ወእምተረፈ ፡ ሕሊናሁ ፡ ይገብር ፡ በዓለከ ።

    For from his desire man shall confess you; and from the remnant of his thought he shall keep your feast.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ብፅኡ ፡ ወሀቡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ፀውዱ ፡ ያበውኡ ፡ አምኃ ፡ ለግሩም ።

    Make vows and pay them to Yahweh our God, and let all who are around him bring gifts to the terrible one.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ዘያወፅእ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ለመላእክት ፤ ወይገርም ፡ እምነገሥተ ፡ ምድር ።

    Who takes away the breath of princes; and is terrible above the kings of the earth.
