- Verse 1.
በእንተ ፡ ሰሎሞን ። እግዚኦ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ ሀቦ ፡ ለንጉሥ ፤ ወጽድቅከኒ ፡ ለወልደ ፡ ንጉሥ ።
Concerning Solomon. O Yahweh, give your judgment to the king, and your righteousness to the king's son,
- Verse 2.
ከመ ፡ ይኰንኖሙ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፡ በጽድቅ ፤ ወለነዳያኒከ ፡ በፍትሕ ።
that he may judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.
- Verse 3.
ይትወከፉ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወአውግር ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ሕዝብከ ።
Let the mountains and the hills receive peace for your people.
- Verse 4.
ኰንን ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ነዳያነ ፡ ሕዝብከ ፡ ወአድኅኖሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ምስኪናኒከ ፤ ወአኅስሮ ፡ ለዕቡይ ።
Judge the poor of your people with righteousness, and save the children of your needy ones; and bring low the proud one.
- Verse 5.
ወይጽናሕ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ፀሐይ ፤ እምቅድመ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።
And he shall endure as long as the sun, and before the moon, from generation to generation.
- Verse 6.
ወይወርድ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጠል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፀምር ፤ ወከመ ፡ ነጠብጣብ ፡ ዘያንጠበጥብ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ።
And he shall come down like dew upon the fleece, and like raindrops that drizzle upon the earth.
- Verse 7.
ወይሠርጽ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ በመዋዕሊሁ ፤ ወብዙኅ ፡ ሰላመ ፡ እስከ ፡ ይኀልፍ ፡ ወርኅ ።
And righteousness shall spring up in his days, and abundance of peace, until the moon passes away.
- Verse 8.
ወይኴንን ፡ እምባሕር ፡ እስከ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወእምአፍላግ ፡ እስከ ፡ አጽናፈ ፡ ዓለም ።
And he shall reign from sea to sea, and from the rivers to the ends of the world.
- Verse 9.
ይገንዩ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ፤ ወጸላእቲሁ ፡ ሐመደ ፡ ይቀምሑ ።
Ethiopia shall bow down before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.
- Verse 10.
ነገሥተ ፡ ተርሴስ ፡ ወደሰያት ፡ አምኃ ፡ ያበውኡ ፤ ነገሥተ ፡ ሳባ ፡ ወዐረብ ፡ ጋዳ ፡ ያመጽኡ ።
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring tribute; the kings of Sheba and Arabia shall bring gifts.
- Verse 11.
ወይሰግዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ነገሥተ ፡ ምድር ፤ ወይትቀነዩ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ።
And all the kings of the earth shall worship him, and all the nations shall serve him.
- Verse 12.
እስመ ፡ አድኀኖ ፡ ለነዳይ ፡ እምእደ ፡ ዘይትዔገሎ ፤ ለምስኪን ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ረዳኤ ።
For he has delivered the poor from the hand of the one who oppresses him, and the needy one who has no helper.
- Verse 13.
ወይምሕክ ፡ ነዳየ ፡ ወምስኪነ ፤ ወያድኅን ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ነዳያን ።
And he shall have pity on the poor and the needy, and he shall save the souls of the poor.
- Verse 14.
እምርዴ ፡ ወእምትዕግልት ፡ ያድኅና ፡ ለነፍሶሙ ፤ ወክቡር ፡ ስሙ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ።
From usury and from oppression he shall redeem their souls; and his name is precious in their sight.
- Verse 15.
ወየሐዩ ፡ ወይሁብዎ ፡ እምወርቀ ፡ ዐረብ ፤ ወዘልፈ ፡ ይጼልዩ ፡ በእንቲአሁ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይድሕርዎ ።
And he shall live, and they shall give him of the gold of Arabia; and they shall always pray on his behalf, and every day they shall bless him.
- Verse 16.
ወይከውን ፡ ምስማከ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ አድባር ፤ ወኡነውኅ ፡ እምአርህ ፡ ፍሬሁ ፡ ወይበቍል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሀገር ፡ ከመ ፡ ሣዕረ ፡ ምድር ።
And he shall be a support for all the earth upon the tops of the mountains; and his fruit shall be exalted above [Lebanon], and they shall flourish in the city like the grass of the earth.
- Verse 17.
ወይከውን ፡ ቡሩከ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ፀሐይ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ስሙ ፤ ወይትባረኩ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወያስተበፅእዎ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ሕዝብ ።
And his name shall be blessed forever; before the sun his name endures; and in him all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, and all peoples shall call him blessed.
- Verse 18.
ይትባረክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፤ ዘገብረ ፡ መንክረ ፡ ባሕቲቱ ።
Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.
- Verse 19.
ወይትባረክ ፡ ስመ ፡ ስብሓቲሁ ፡ ልዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወይምላእ ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ምድር ፤ ለይኩን ፡ ለይኩን ።
And blessed be the name of his glory forever and ever, and let his glory fill all the earth. So be it, so be it.
- Verse 19.
ኀልቀ ፡ መኅልይ ፡ ዘዳዊት ፡ ዘወልደ ፡ ኤሳይ ።
