- Verse 1.
ፍጻሜ ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘትንሣኤ ። የብቡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።
To the end. A song. A psalm of the resurrection. Shout to Yahweh, all the earth.
- Verse 2.
ወዘምሩ ፡ ለስሙ ፤ ሀቡ ፡ አኰቴተ ፡ ለስብሐቲሁ ።
And sing to his name; give thanksgiving to his glory.
- Verse 3.
በልዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ግሩም ፡ ግብርከ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ብዙኅ ፡ ኀይልከ ፡ ሐሰዉክ ፡ ጸላእቲከ ።
Say to Yahweh, Awesome are your works; while your power is great, your enemies have lied to you.
- Verse 4.
ኵላ ፡ ምድር ፡ ትሰግድ ፡ ወትገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወትዜምር ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ልዑል ።
Let all the earth bow down and be subject to you, and sing to your name, O Most High.
- Verse 5.
ንዑ ፡ ወትርአዩ ፡ ግብሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ግሩም ፡ ምክሩ ፡ እምእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
Come and see the work of Yahweh; awesome is his counsel beyond the children of men.
- Verse 6.
ዘይሬስያ ፡ ለባሕር ፡ የብሰ ፡ ወበተከዚ ፡ የኀልፉ ፡ በእግር ፤ ወበህየ ፡ ንትፌሣሕ ፡ ኅቡረ ።
He who turns the sea into dry land, and through the river they pass on foot; and there we shall rejoice together.
- Verse 7.
ዘይኴንን ፡ በኀይሉ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ ወአዕይንቲሁኒ ፡ ኀበ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ይኔጽራ ፤ እለ ፡ ታአምሩ ፡ ኢታዕብዩ ፡ ርእሰክሙ ።
He who rules by his power forever, and his eyes look upon the nations; let those who provoke not exalt themselves.
- Verse 8.
ባርክዎ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ለአምላክነ ፤ ወአፅምኡ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ።
Bless our God, O you peoples; and make heard the voice of his praise,
- Verse 9.
ዘአንበራ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሕይወት ፤ ወኢይሁቦን ፡ ሁከተ ፡ ለእግርየ ።
he who has set my soul in life; and has not given my foot to be shaken.
- Verse 10.
እስመ ፡ አምከርከነ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወፈተንከነ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይፈትንዎ ፡ ለብሩር ።
For you have proved us, O Yahweh; and you have tested us as silver is tested.
- Verse 11.
ወአባእከነ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መሥገርት ፤ ወአምጻእከ ፡ ሕማመ ፡ ቅድሜነ ። ወአጽአንከ ፡ ስብአ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አርእስቲነ ፤
And you brought us into the snare; and you laid affliction before us. And you set men over our heads;
- Verse 12.
አኅለፍከነ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ እሳት ፡ ወማይ ፡ ወአውፃእከነ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዕረፍት ።
you led us through fire and water, and you brought us out into rest.
- Verse 13.
እበውእ ፡ ቤተከ ፡ ምስለ ፡ መባእየ ፤ ወእሁብ ፡ ብፅአትየ ።
I will enter your house with my offerings; and I will pay you my vows,
- Verse 14.
ዘነበብኩ ፡ በአፉየ ፤ ዘእቤ ፡ በከናፍርየ ፡ አመ ፡ ምንዳቤየ ።
which my lips uttered, and which my mouth spoke in the day of my distress.
- Verse 15.
መሥዋዕተ ፡ ንጹሐ ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ነውረ ፡ ኣበውእ ፡ ለከ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሕራጊት ፤ እሠውዕ ፡ ለከ ፡ አልህምተ ፡ ወአጣሌ ።
Pure burnt offerings without blemish I will offer to you, incense with rams; I will sacrifice to you oxen and goats.
- Verse 16.
ንዑ ፡ ስምዑኒ ፡ ወእንግርክሙ ፡ ኵልክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ትፈርህዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ መጠነ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ላቲ ፡ ለነፍስየ ።
Come, hear me, and I will tell you, all you who fear Yahweh, how much he has done for my soul.
- Verse 17.
ዘጸራኅኩ ፡ ኀቤሁ ፡ በአፉየ ፤ ወከላሕኩ ፡ በልሳንየ ።
To him I cried out with my mouth; and I extolled him with my tongue.
- Verse 18.
እስመ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ይሬኢ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ልብየ ፤ ኢይሰምዐኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
For if I had seen iniquity in my heart, Yahweh would not hear me.
- Verse 19.
ወበእንተዝ ፡ ሰምዐኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወአፅምአኒ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለትየ ።
And because of this Yahweh has heard me; and has given heed to the voice of my supplication.
- Verse 20.
ይትባረክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘኢከልአኒ ፡ ጸሎትየ ፡ ወኢያርሐቀ ፡ ሣህሎ ፡ እምኔየ ።
Blessed be Yahweh, who has not withheld my prayer, nor put his mercy far from me.
