- Verse 1.
ፍጻሜ ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።
To the end. A song. A psalm of David.
- Verse 2.
ለከ ፡ ይደሉ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ስብሐት ፡ በጽዮን ፤ ወለከ ፡ ይትፌነው ፡ ጸሎት ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ።
To you, O Yahweh, is fitting praise in Zion; and to you a prayer shall be sent up in Jerusalem.
- Verse 3.
ስማዕ ፡ ጸሎተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ ዘመጽአ ፡ ኀቤከ ።
Hear the prayer of all flesh that comes to you.
- Verse 4.
ነገረ ፡ ዐማፂያን ፡ ኀየለነ ፡ ወኀጢአትነሰ ፡ አንተ ፡ ትሰሪ ፡ ለነ ።
The words of the wicked have prevailed over us; but as for our sins, you forgive them for us.
- Verse 5.
ብፁዕ ፡ ዘኀረይኮ ፡ ወዘተወከፍኮ ፡ ወዘኣኅደርኮ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አዕጻዲከ ። ጸገብነ ፡ እምበረከተ ፡ ቤትከ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ጽርሕከ ፡ ወመንክር ፡ በጽዱቅ ።
Blessed is the one whom you have chosen and whom you have received and whom you have caused to dwell within your courts. We are filled with the blessing of your house; holy is your temple, and marvelous in righteousness.
- Verse 6.
ስምዐነ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወመድኀኒነ ፤ ተስፋሆሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ አጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወለእለሂ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ርሑቅ ።
Hear us, our God and our Savior; the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of those who are upon the sea afar off.
- Verse 7.
አጽናዕኮሙ ፡ ለአድባር ፡ በኀይልከ ፤ ወቅኑታን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ በኀይል ።
You who established the mountains by your power; and they are girded with might;
- Verse 8.
ዘየሀውኮ ፡ ለዐንበረ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወመኑ ፡ ይትቃወሞ ፡ ለድምፀ ፡ ማዕበላ ። ይደነግፁ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወይፈርሁ ፡
you who trouble the depth of the sea; and who can withstand the sound of its waves? The nations shall be dismayed and shall fear,
- Verse 9.
እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አጽናፍ ፡ እምተአምሪከ ፤ ይወፅኡ ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ወሰርከ ፡ ይትፌሥሑ ።
those who dwell at the ends of the earth shall be in awe of your signs; the goings forth of morning and evening shall rejoice.
- Verse 10.
ሐወጽካ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወአርወይካ ፡ ወአብዛኅኮ ፡ ለብዕላ ፡ ፈለገ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምሉእ ፡ ማያት ፤ አስተዳሎከ ፡ ሲሳዮሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ታስተዴሉ ።
You have visited the earth and watered it, and you have multiplied its riches; the river of Yahweh is full of waters; you have prepared their food, for so do you provide.
- Verse 11.
አርውዮ ፡ ለትሌሚሃ ፡ ወአስምር ፡ ለማእረራ ፤ ወበነጠብጣብከ ፡ ትበቍል ፡ ትፈሢሓ ።
Water its furrows, and make its fruit grow; and by your drops it shall sprout in its rejoicing.
- Verse 12.
ወትባርክ ፡ አክሊለ ፡ ዓመተ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፤ ወይጸግቡ ፡ ጠላተ ፡ ገዳማት ።
And you shall bless the crown of the year of your mercy; and the plains shall be filled with abundance.
- Verse 13.
ወይረውዩ ፡ አድባረ ፡ በድው ፤ ወይትሐሠዩ ፡ አውግር ፡ ወይቀንቱ ።
And the mountains of the wilderness shall be watered; and the hills shall rejoice and be girded with gladness.
- Verse 14.
ወይለብሱ ፡ አብሐኰ ፡ አባግዕ ፡ ወቈላትኒ ፡ ይመልኡ ፡ ስርናየ ፤ ይጸርኁ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይሴብሑ ።
And the rams of the flock shall clothe themselves, and the valleys shall be filled with wheat; they shall cry out while they praise.
