መዝሙር ፷

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ ዘዳዊት ።

   To the end. A hymn of David.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ስምዐኒ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ ስእለትየ ፤ ወአፅምአኒ ፡ ጸሎትየ ።

   Hear my supplication, my God; and give ear to my prayer.

3. Verse 3.፫

   እምአጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ፡ ጸራኅኩ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ቀብጸኒ ፡ ልብየ ፤ ወእምእብን ፡ አልዐልከኒ ፡ ወመራሕከኒ ።

   From the ends of the earth I cried out to you when my heart fainted; and you raised me up from the rock and you led me.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እስመ ፡ ተስፋየ ፡ ኮንከኒ ፤ ማኅፈድ ፡ ጽኑዕ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ጸላኢ ።

   For you have been my hope; a strong tower before the face of the enemy.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እነብር ፡ ቤተከ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ ወእትከደን ፡ በጽላሎተ ፡ ክነፊከ ።

   I will dwell in your house forever; and I will take cover in the shadow of your wings.

6. Verse 6.፮

   እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ ሰማዕከኒ ፡ ጸሎትየ ፤ ወወሀብኮሙ ፡ ርስተ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይፈርሁከ ።

   For you, my God, have heard my prayer; and you have given an inheritance to those who fear you.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እምዕለት ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ይዌስክ ፡ ንጉሥ ፤ ዐመቲሁ ፡ እስከ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ትውለደ ፡ ትውለድ ።

   From day to day the king will increase; his years until the days of generation upon generation.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወይነብር ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ መኑ ፡ የኀሥሥ ፡ ሣህሎ ፡ ወጽድቆ ።

   And he shall abide forever before Yahweh; who shall seek out his mercy and his righteousness?

9. Verse 9.፱

   ከመዝ ፡ እዜምር ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ ከመ ፡ ተሀበኒ ፡ ተምኔትየ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ።

   So will I sing praise to your name forever; that I may render my vows day by day.
