መዝሙር ፭

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ተወርሶ ፤ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።

   For the end, concerning her that obtains the inheritance; a psalm of David.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ቃልየ ፡ አፅምእ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወለቡ ፡ ጽራኅየ ።

   Give ear to my words, O Yahweh; understand my cry.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወአፅምአኒ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለትየ ፤ ንጉሥየኒ ፡ ወአምላክየኒ ።

   And hearken to the voice of my supplication; my King and my God.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እስመ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ እጼሊ ። እግዚኦ ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ስምዐኒ ፡ ቃልየ ።

   For to you I pray. O Yahweh, in the morning you shall hear my voice.

5. Verse 5.፭

   በጽባሕ ፡እቀውም ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ ወኣስተርኢ ፡ ለከ ። እስመ ፡ ኢኮንከ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ዘዐመፃ ፡ ያፈቅር ፡ ወኢየኀድሩ ፡ እኩያን ፡ ምስሌከ ።

   In the morning I will stand before you and appear to you. For you are not a God who delights in iniquity, neither shall the wicked dwell with you.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወኢይነብሩ ፡ ዐማፅያን ፡ ቅድመ ፡ አዕይንቲከ ፡

   Nor shall the workers of iniquity abide before your eyes;

7. Verse 7.፯

   ጸላእከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዐመፃ ፤ ወትገድፎሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነቡ ፡ ሐሰተ ። ብእሴ ፡ ደም ፡ ወጕሕላዌ ፡ ይስቆርር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   you have hated, O Yahweh, all the workers of iniquity; and you will destroy all those who speak a lie. The man of blood and deceit Yahweh abhors.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወአንሰ ፡ በብዝኀ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፡ እበውእ ፡ ቤተከ ፤ ወእሰግድ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽርሐ ፡ መቅደስከ ፡ በፍሪሆትከ ።

   But as for me, in the abundance of your mercy I will enter your house; and I will worship toward the temple of your sanctuary in your fear.

9. Verse 9.፱

   እግዚኦ ፡ ምርሐኒ ፡ በጽድቅከ ፤ ወበእንተ ፡ ጸላእትየ ፡ አርትዕ ፡ ፍኖትየ ፡ ቅድሜከ ።

   O Yahweh, guide me in your righteousness; and because of my enemies, make my way straight before you.

10. Verse 10.፲

    እስመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አፉሆሙ ፤ ወልቦሙኒ ፡ ከንቱ ።

    For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart also is vain.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ከመ ፡ መቃብር ፡ ክሡት ፡ ጐራዒቶሙ ፤ ወጸልሕዉ ፡ በልሳናቲሆሙ ። ኰንኖሙ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወይደቁ ፡ በውዴቶሙ ፤ ወበከመ ፡ ብዝኀ ፡ ሕብሎሙ ፡ ስድዶሙ ፤ እስመ ፡ አምረሩከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

    Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have dealt deceitfully. Judge them, O Yahweh; let them fall by their own counsels; and according to the abundance of their wickedness cast them out, for they have provoked you, O Yahweh.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ወይትፌሥሑ ፡ ብከ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትዌከሉከ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ይትሐሠዩ ፡ ወተኀድር ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ። ወይትሜክሑ ፡ ብከ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ያፈቅሩ ፡ ስመከ ።

    But let all who trust in you rejoice in you; let them be glad for ever, and you shall dwell among them. And all who love your name shall glory in you.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ ትባርኮ ፡ ለጻድቅ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ ከመ ፡ ወልታ ፡ ሥሙር ፡ ከለልከነ ።

    For you, O Yahweh, will bless the righteous; you have crowned us as with a shield of favour.
