- Verse 1.
ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘደቂቀ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኅቡኣት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።
To the end. Of the sons of Korah, concerning hidden things, a psalm of David.
- Verse 2.
አምላክነሰ ፡ ኀይልነ ፡ ወጸወንነ ፤ ወረዳኢነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ በምንዳቤነ ፡ ዘረከበነ ፡ ፈድፋደ ።
Our God is our strength and our refuge; and he is our helper in the tribulation that has greatly befallen us.
- Verse 3.
በእንተዝ ፡ ኢንፈርህ ፡ ለእመ ፡ አድለቅለቀት ፡ ምድር ፤ ወእመኒ ፡ ፈለሱ ፡ አድባር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ልብ ፡ ባሕር ።
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be shaken, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.
- Verse 4.
ደምፁ ፡ ወተሐመጉ ፡ ማያቲሆሙ ፤ ወአድለቅለቁ ፡ አድባር ፡ እምኀይሉ ።
Their waters resounded and were troubled; and the mountains were shaken by his power.
- Verse 5.
ፈለግ ፡ ዘይውሕዝ ፡ ያስተፌሥሕ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ቀደሰ ፡ ማኅድሮ ፡ ልዑል ።
A river that flows gladdens the city of Yahweh; the Most High has hallowed his dwelling.
- Verse 6.
እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማእከላ ፡ ኢትትሀወክ ፤ ወይረድኣ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፍጹመ ።
Yahweh is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; and Yahweh shall help her fully.
- Verse 7.
ደንገፁ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወተመይጡ ፡ ነገሥት ፤ ወሀበ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ወአድለቅለቀት ፡ ምድር ።
The nations were terrified and the kingdoms were moved; the Most High uttered his voice, and the earth was shaken.
- Verse 8.
እግዚኦ ፡ ኀያላን ፡ ምስሌነ ፤ ወምስካይነ ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ።
Yahweh of hosts is with us; our refuge is the God of Jacob.
- Verse 9.
ንዑ ፡ ወትርአዩ ፡ ገብሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ዘገብረ ፡ መንክረ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ።
Come and see the works of Yahweh, who has done wonders upon the earth.
- Verse 10.
ይስዕር ፡ ፀብአ ፡ እስከ ፡ አጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ፤ ይሰብር ፡ ቀስተ ፡ ወይቀጠቅጥ ፡ ወልታ ፡ ወያውዒ ፡ በእሳት ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ሐቅል ።
He puts an end to war unto the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the shield, and burns the implements of war with fire.
- Verse 11.
አስተርክቡ ፡ ወአእምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ተለዐልኩ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፡ ወተለዐልኩ ፡ እምድር ።
Be still and know that I am Yahweh; I am exalted among the nations, and I am exalted in the earth.
- Verse 12.
እግዚአ ፡ ኀያላን ፡ ምስሌነ ፤ ወምስካይነ ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ።
Yahweh of hosts is with us; our refuge is the God of Jacob.
