መዝሙር ፳፯

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። ኀቤከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ጸራኅኩ ፡ አምላኪየ ፡ ወኢተጸመመኒ ፤ ወእመሰ ፡ ተጸመመከኒ ፡ እከውን ፡ ከመ ፡ እለ ፡ የወርዱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግብ ።

   A Psalm of David. To you, O Yahweh, I have cried out, my God; and do not be silent toward me; for if you are silent toward me, I shall become like those who go down into the pit.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ስምዐኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለትየ ፡ ዘጸራኅኩ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ኣንሥእ ፡ እደውየ ፡ በጽርሐ ፡ መቅደስከ ።

   Hear, O Yahweh, the voice of my supplication, which I have cried to you, when I lift up my hands toward the courts of your sanctuary.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ኢትስሐባ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ ለነፍስየ ፡ ወኢትግድፈኒ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዐመፃ ። እለ ፡ ይትናገሩ ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ቢጾሙ ፤ ወእኩይ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ልቦሙ ።

   Do not drag my soul away with the sinners, and do not cast me off with the workers of iniquity, those who speak peace with their neighbors, while evil is in their heart.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ሀቦሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ምግባሮሙ ፡ ወበከመ ፡ እከየ ፡ ሕሊናሆሙ ። ፍድዮሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፤ ፍድዮሙ ፡ ፍዳሆሙ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ርእሶሙ ።

   Give to them according to their deeds and according to the wickedness of their devices. Repay them according to the work of their hands; render to them their recompense upon their own head.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ ኢሐለዩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢውስተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደዊሁ ፤ ንሥቶሙ ፡ ወኢትሕንጾሙ ።

   For they have not regarded the works of Yahweh, nor the work of his hands; tear them down and do not build them up.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ይትባረክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰምዐኒ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለትየ ።

   Blessed be Yahweh, for he has heard the voice of my supplication.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ረዳእየ ፡ ወምእመንየ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ተወከለ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ወይረድአኒ ። ወሠረጸ ፡ ሥጋየ ፤ ወእምፈቃድየ ፡ አአምኖ ።

   Yahweh is my helper and my faithful one; in him my heart has trusted, and he helps me. And my flesh has flourished; and of my own will I confess him.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኀይሎሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለሕዝቡ ፤ ወምእመነ ፡ መድኀኒተ ፡ መሲሑ ፡ ውእቱ ።

   Yahweh is the strength of his people; and he is the faithful salvation of his anointed.

9. Verse 9.፱

   አድኅን ፡ ሕዝበከ ፡ ወባርክ ፡ ርስተከ ፤ ረዐዮሙ ፡ ወአልዕሎሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።

   Save your people and bless your inheritance; shepherd them and exalt them forever.
