መዝሙር ፳፪

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይሬዕየኒ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘየኀጥአኒ ።

   A psalm of David. Yahweh shepherds me, and there is nothing that I shall lack.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ውስተ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ሥዑር ፡ ህየ ፡ ያኀድረኒ ፤ ወኀበ ፡ ማየ ፡ ዕረፍት ፡ ሐፀነኒ ።

   In a place of green pasture, there he makes me dwell; and beside the water of rest he has nourished me.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ሜጣ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፤ ወመርሐኒ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ስመ ፡ ዚአሁ ።

   He has restored my soul, and he has led me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እመኒ ፡ ሖርኩ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ጽላሎተ ፡ ሞት ፡ ኢይፈርሆ ፡ ለእኩይ ፡ እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ ምስሌየ ፤ በትርከ ፡ ወቀስታምከ ፡ እማንቱ ፡ ገሠጻኒ ።

   Even though I walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, these have comforted me.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ወሠራዕከ ፡ ማእደ ፡ በቅድሜየ ፡ በአንጻሪሆሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይሣቅዩኒ ፤ ወአጽሐድከ ፡ በቅብእ ፡ ርእስየ ፡ ጽዋዕከኒ ፡ ጽኑዕ ፡ ያረዊ ።

   And you have prepared a table before me, over against those who afflict me; and you have anointed my head with oil, and your cup that strengthens makes me drunk [with gladness].

6. Verse 6.፮

   ምሕረትከ ፡ ይትልወኒ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወትየ ፤ ከመ ፡ ታንብረኒ ፡ ቤቶ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ለነዋኅ ፡ መዋዕል ።

   Your mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, that you may make me dwell in the house of Yahweh for length of days.
