መዝሙር ፳

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።

   To the end. A psalm of David.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እግዚኦ ፡ በኀይልከ ፡ ይትፌሣሕ ፡ ንጉሥ ፤ ወብዙኀ ፡ ይትሐሠይ ፡ በአድኅኖትከ ።

   O Yahweh, the king rejoices in your power, and in your salvation he greatly exults.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ፍትወተ ፡ ነፍሱ ፡ ወሀብኮ ፤ ወስእለተ ፡ ከናፍሪሁ ፡ ኢከላእኮ ።

   You have given him the desire of his soul, and you have not withheld from him the request of his lips.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እስመ ፡ በጻሕኮ ፡ በበረከት ፡ ሠናይ ፤ ወአንበርከ ፡ አክሊለ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ርእሱ ፡ ዘእምዕንቍ ፡ ክቡር ።

   For you have come upon him with a good blessing, and you have set upon his head a crown of precious stone.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ሐይወ ፡ ሰአለከ ፡ ወወሀብኮ ፤ ለነዋኅ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ።

   He asked you for life, and you gave it to him, length of days forever and ever.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ዐቢይ ፡ ክብሩ ፡ በአድኅኖትከ ፤ ክብረ ፡ ወስብሐተ ፡ ወሰኮ ።

   Great is his glory in your salvation; glory and majesty you have laid upon him.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እስመ ፡ ወሀብኮ ፡ በረከተ ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወታስተፌሥሖ ፡ በሐሤተ ፡ ገጽከ ።

   For you have given him blessing forever and ever, and you make him glad with the joy of your countenance.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እስመ ፡ ተወከለ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፤ ወኢይትሀወክ ፡ በምሕረቱ ፡ ለልዑል ።

   For the king trusts in Yahweh, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be shaken.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ትርከቦሙ ፡ እዴከ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ ፀርከ ፤ ወትትራከቦሙ ፡ እዴከ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ ጸላእትከ ።

   May your hand find out all your enemies, may your hand seize all those who hate you.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ወትረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ እቶነ ፡ እሳት ፡ ለጊዜ ፡ ገጽከ ። እግዚኦ ፡ በመዐትከ ፡ ሁኮሙ ፤ ወትብልዖሙ ፡ እሳት ።

    And you shall make them like a furnace of fire at the time of your appearing. O Yahweh, in your wrath confound them, and fire shall devour them.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ወፍሬሆሙኒ ፡ ሰዐር ፡ እምድር ፤ ወዘርዖሙኒ ፡ እምእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።

    And their fruit you shall root out from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    እስመ ፡ ሜጥዋ ፡ ለዐመፃ ፡ ላዕሌከ ፤ ወሐለዩ ፡ ምክረ ፡ እንተ ፡ ኢይክሉ ፡ አቅሞ ።

    For they turned wickedness against you, and they devised a plan that they could not establish.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ወታገብኦሙ ፡ ድኅሬሆሙ ፤ ወታስተደሉ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ለጊዜ ፡ መዐትከ ።

    And you shall turn them back, and you shall make ready their face at the time of your wrath.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    ተለዐልከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ በኀይልከ ፤ ንሴብሕ ፡ ወንዜምር ፡ ለጽንዕከ ።

    Be exalted, O Yahweh, in your power; we will praise and sing to your might.
