መዝሙር ፲፱

1. Verse 1.፩

   ፍጻሜ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።

   To the end. A psalm of David.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ይስማዕከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ምንዳቤከ ፤ ወይቁም ፡ ለከ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለአምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ።

   May Yahweh hear you in the day of your trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወይፈኑ ፡ ለከ ፡ ረድኤተ ፡ እምቅደሱ ፤ ወእምጽዮን ፡ ይትወከፍከ ።

   And may he send you help from his sanctuary, and from Zion may he uphold you.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ወይዝክር ፡ ለከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ መሥዋዕተከ ፤ ወያጥልል ፡ ለከ ፡ ቍርባነከ ።

   And may he remember all your offerings, and make your burnt sacrifice rich [acceptable].

5. Verse 5.፭

   የሀብክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘከመ ፡ ልብከ ፤ ወይፈጽም ፡ ለከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ሥምረተከ ።

   May Yahweh give you according to your heart, and fulfill for you all your purpose.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወንትፌሣሕ ፡ በአድኅኖትከ ፡ ወነዐቢ ፡ በስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፤ ወይፈጽም ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ስእለተከ ።

   And we will rejoice in your salvation, and we will be magnified in the name of Yahweh our God; and may Yahweh fulfill for you all your petitions.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ይእዜ ፡ ኣእመርኩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አድኀኖ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለመሲሑ ። ወይሠጠዎ ፡ እምሰማይ ፡ ወቅደሱ ፤ በኀይለ ፡ አድኅኖተ ፡ የማኑ ።

   Now I know that Yahweh has saved his anointed. And he will answer him from heaven and his sanctuary; by the saving power of his right hand.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እሙንቱሰ ፡ በአፍራስ ፡ ወበሰረገላት ፤ ወንሕነሰ ፡ ነዐቢ ፡ በስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ።

   Some trust in horses and in chariots, but we will be magnified in the name of Yahweh our God.

9. Verse 9.፱

   እሙንቱሰ ፡ ተዐቅጹ ፡ ወወድቁ ፤ ወንሕነሰ ፡ ተንሣእነ ፡ ወረታዕነ ።

   They stumbled and fell, but we have risen up and stood upright.

10. Verse 10.፲

    እግዚኦ ፡ አድኅኖ ፡ ለንጉሥ ፡ ወስምዐነ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ንጼውዐከ ።

    O Yahweh, save the king, and hear us in the day when we call upon you.
