መዝሙር ፻፵፯

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። ትሴብሖ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ሰብሕዮ ፡ ለአምላክኪ ፡ ጽዮን ።

   Hallelujah. Praise Yahweh, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እስመ ፡ አጽንዐ ፡ መናስግተ ፡ ኆኃቲኪ ፤ ወባረኮሙ ፡ ለውሉድኪ ፡ በውስቴትኪ ።

   For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; and he has blessed your children within you.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወረሰየ ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ለበሓውርትኪ ፤ ወአጽገበኪ ፡ ቄቅሐ ፡ ስርናይ ።

   And he has set peace in your borders; and he has filled you with the finest of wheat.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ዘይፌኑ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ለምድር ፤ ወፍጡነ ፡ ይረውጽ ፡ ነቢቡ ።

   Who sends his word to the earth; and swiftly his utterance runs.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ዘይሁብ ፡ በረደ ፡ ከመ ፡ ፀምር ፤ ወይዘርዎ ፡ ለጊሜ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሐመድ ።

   Who gives snow like wool; and scatters the mist like ashes.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወያወርድ ፡ በረደ ፡ ከመ ፡ ፍተታት ፤ መኑ ፡ ይትቃወሞ ፡ ለቍሩ ።

   And he sends down hail like morsels; who can stand before his cold?

7. Verse 7.፯

   ይፌኑ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ወይመስዎ ፤ ያነፍኅ ፡ መንፈሶ ፡ ወያውሕዝ ፡ ማያተ ።

   He sends his word and melts them; he makes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ዘነገረ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፤ ፍትሖ ፡ ወኵነኔሁ ፡ ለእስራኤል ።

   Who declared his word to Jacob; his statutes and his judgments to Israel.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ወኢገብረ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ለባዕዳን ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ ወኢነገሮሙ ፡ ፍትሖ ።

   He has not done so for any other nations; and he has not made known to them his judgments.
