መዝሙር ፻፵፮

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ መዝሙር ፤ ወለአምላክነ ፡ ሐዋዝ ፡ ሰብሖ ።

   Hallelujah. Praise Yahweh, for a psalm is good; and to our God praise is sweet.

2. Verse 2.፪

   የሐንጻ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም ፤ ወያስተጋብእ ፡ ዝርወቶሙ ፡ ለእስራኤል ።

   Yahweh builds up Jerusalem; and he gathers together the dispersed of Israel.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ዘይፌውሶሙ ፡ ለቍሱላነ ፡ ልብ ፤ ወይፀምም ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ቍስሎሙ ።

   Who heals those who are broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ዘይኌልቆሙ ፡ ለከዋክብት ፡ በምልኦሙ ፤ ወይጼውዖሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ በበአስማቲሆሙ ።

   Who counts the multitude of the stars; and calls them all by their names.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ዐቢይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወዐቢይ ፡ ኀይሉ ፤ ወአልቦ ፡ ኍልቆ ፡ ጥበቢሁ ።

   Great is Yahweh, and great is his power; and there is no measure of his wisdom.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ያነሥኦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለየዋሃን ፤ ወያኀስሮሙ ፡ ለኃጥኣን ፡ እስከ ፡ ምድር ።

   Yahweh raises up the meek; and he humbles the wicked down to the earth.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በአሚን ፤ ወዘምሩ ፡ ለአምላክነ ፡ በመሰንቆ ።

   Praise Yahweh with thanksgiving; and make music to our God with the harp.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ዘይገለብቦ ፡ ለሰማይ ፡ በደመና ፡ ወያስተዴሉ ፡ ክረምተ ፡ ለምድር ፤ ዘያበቍል ፡ ሣዕረ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወኀመልማል ፡ ለቅኔ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።

   Who covers heaven with clouds, and prepares rain for the earth; who makes grass to sprout upon the mountains, and green herb for the service of the son of man.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ዘይሁቦሙ ፡ ሲሳዮሙ ፡ ለእንስሳ ፤ ወለእጕለ ፡ ቋዓት ፡ እለ ፡ ይጼውዕዎ ።

   Who gives to the beasts their food; and to the young ravens that call upon him.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ኢይፈቅድ ፡ ኀይለ ፡ ፈረስ ፤ ወኢይሠምር ፡ በአቍያጸ ፡ ብእሲ ።

    He does not delight in the strength of the horse; nor does he take pleasure in the legs of a man.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ይሠምር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በእለ ፡ ይፈርህዎ ፤ ወበኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትዌከሉ ፡ በምሕረቱ ።

    Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him; and in all who hope in his mercy.
