መዝሙር ፻፵፭

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ፡ ዘሐጌ ፡ ወዘካርያስ ። ታአኵቶ ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

   Hallelujah, of Haggai and Zechariah. Praise Yahweh, O my soul.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እሴብሖ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በሕይወትየ ፤ ወእዜምር ፡ ለአምላኪየ ፡ በአምጣነ ፡ ሀለውኩ ።

   I will praise Yahweh in my life; and I will make music to my God as long as I exist.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ኢትትአመኑ ፡ በመላእክት ፤ ወኢበእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ እለ ፡ ኢይክሉ ፡ አድኅኖ ።

   Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no power to save.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ትወፅእ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ወይገብኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መሬቶሙ ፤ ውእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይጠፍእ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምክሮሙ ።

   His breath goes out, and he returns to his dust; on that day all his plans perish.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ብፁዕ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘአምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ረዳኢሁ ፤ ወትውክልቱኒ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኩ ።

   Blessed is the man whose helper is the God of Jacob, and whose hope is upon Yahweh his God,

6. Verse 6.፮

   ዘገብረ ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ፤ ዘየዐቅባ ፡ ለጽድቅ ፡ ለዓለም ።

   who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in it; who keeps faithfulness forever,

7. Verse 7.፯

   ወይፈትሕ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ለግፉዓን ፡ ዘይሁቦሙ ፡ ሲሳዮሙ ፡ ለርኁባን ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይፈትሖሙ ፡ ለሙቁሓን ።

   and who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives their food to the hungry. Yahweh sets free those who are bound.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያነሥኦሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ወድቁ ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያጠብቦሙ ፡ ለዕዉራን ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያፍቅሮሙ ፡ ለጻድቃን ።

   Yahweh raises up those who have fallen; Yahweh makes wise the blind; Yahweh loves the righteous.

9. Verse 9.፱

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ የዐቅቦሙ ፡ ለፈላስያን ፡ ወይትወከፎሙ ፡ ለአቤራት ፡ ወለእጓለ ፡ ማውታ ፤ ወያመስን ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ኃጥኣን ።

   Yahweh guards the strangers; he receives the orphans and the fatherless child; and he ruins the way of the wicked.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ይነግሥ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለዓለም ፤ አምላክኪ ፡ ጽዮን ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።

    Yahweh shall reign forever; your God, O Zion, to generation upon generation.
