መዝሙር ፻፵፬

1. Verse 1.፩

   አኰቴት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። ኣሌዕለከ ፡ ንጉሥየ ፡ ወአምላኪየ ፤ ወእባርክ ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ።

   A praise-song of David. I will exalt you, my King and my God, and I will bless your name forever and unto the age of ages.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ፡ እባርከከ ፤ ወእሴብሕ ፡ ለስምከ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ።

   Every day I will bless you, and I will praise your name forever and unto the age of ages.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ዐቢይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወብዙኅ ፡ አኰቴቱ ፤ ወአልቦ ፡ ጽንፈ ፡ ዕበየ ፡ ዚአሁ ።

   Great is Yahweh and abundant is his praise, and of his greatness there is no limit.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ፡ ይንእዱ ፡ ምግባሪከ ፤ ወይዜንዉ ፡ ኀይለከ ።

   Generation upon generation shall extol your works, and they shall proclaim your might.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ወይነግሩ ፡ ዕበየ ፡ ክብረ ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ ቅዱሳቲከ ፤ ወያየድዑ ፡ መንክረከ ።

   And they shall tell of the majesty of the glory of the praise of your holiness, and they shall declare your wonders.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወይብሉ ፡ ግሩም ፡ ኀይልከ ፤ ወይነግሩ ፡ ኀይለ ፡ ግርማከ ፤ ወያየድዑ ፡ ጽንዐከ ።

   And they shall speak of how awesome is your might, and they shall tell of the might of your majesty, and they shall declare your strength.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ወይጐሥዑ ፡ ተዝካረ ፡ ብዝኀ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፤ ወይትሐሠዩ ፡ በጽድቅከ ።

   And they shall pour forth the remembrance of the abundance of your mercy, and they shall rejoice in your righteousness.

8. Verse 8.፰

   መሓሪ ፡ ወመስተሣህል ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ርሑቀ ፡ መዐት ፡ ወብዙኀ ፡ ምሕረት ፡ ወጻድቅ ።

   Merciful and compassionate is Yahweh, slow to anger and abundant in mercy, and righteous.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ኄር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይትዔገስዎ ፤ ወሣህሉ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተግባሩ ።

   Good is Yahweh to those who wait patiently for him, and his compassion is over all his works.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ይገንዩ ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተግባርከ ፤ ወይባርኩከ ፡ ጻድቃኒከ ።

    Let all your works give thanks to you, O Yahweh, and let your righteous ones bless you.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ስብሐት ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ለመንግሥትከ ፤ ወይነግሩ ፡ ኀይለከ ።

    They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and they shall tell of your might,

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ከመ ፡ ይንግርዎሙ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ኀይለከ ፤ ወዕበየ ፡ ክብረ ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ መንግሥትከ ።

    so that they may make known to the children of men your might, and the majesty of the glory of the praise of your kingdom.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    መንግሥትከሰ ፡ መንግሥት ፡ ዘለኵሉ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወምኵናኒከኒ ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ። 13a ምእመን ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ቃሉ ፤ ወጽድቅ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምግባሩ ።

    Your kingdom is a kingdom of all ages, and your dominion endures for generation upon generation. Faithful is Yahweh in all his words, and righteous in all his works.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    ያሰውቆሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእለ ፡ ተንተኑ ፤ ወያነሥኦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእለ ፡ ወድቁ ።

    Yahweh upholds those who are falling, and Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down.

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    ዐይነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ ይሴፎ ፡ ኪያከ ፤ ወአንተ ፡ ትሁቦመ ፡ ሲሳዮሙ ፡ በጊዜሁ ።

    The eyes of every living soul hope in you, and you give them their food in its season.

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    ተሰፍሕ ፡ የማነከ ፤ ወታጸግብ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘበሥርዐትከ ።

    You open wide your hand, and you satisfy every living creature according to your good pleasure.

17. Verse 18.፲፰

    ጻድቅ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊሁ ፤ ወኄር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምግባሩ ።

    Righteous is Yahweh in all his ways, and good in all his works.

18. Verse 18.፲፰

    ቅሩብ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይጼውዕዎ ፤ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይጼውዕዎ ፡ በጽድቅ ።

    Yahweh is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

19. Verse 19.፲፱

    ይገብር ፡ ፈቃዶሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይፈርህዎ ፤ ወይሰምዖሙ ፡ ጸሎቶሙ ፡ ወያድኅኖሙ ።

    He fulfills the desire of those who fear him, and he hears their prayer and saves them.

20. Verse 20.፳

    የዐቅቦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይፈርህዎ ፤ ወይሤርዎሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ ኃጥኣን ።

    Yahweh keeps all who fear him, and all the wicked he will destroy.

21. Verse 21.፳፩

    ስብሐተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይነግር ፡ አፉየ ፤ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ ይባርክ ፡ ለስሙ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ።

    My mouth shall speak the praise of Yahweh, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and unto the age of ages.
