መዝሙር ፻፴፬

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። ሰብሑ ፡ ለስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ሰብሕዎ ፡ አግብርቲሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

   Hallelujah. Praise the name of Yahweh; praise him, you servants of Yahweh,

2. Verse 2.፪

   እለ ፡ ትቀውሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ውስተ ፡ ዐጸደ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አምላክነ ።

   you who stand in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ሰብሕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ኄር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወዘምሩ ፡ ለስሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሠናይ ።

   Praise Yahweh, for Yahweh is good; and sing to his name, for it is pleasant.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እስመ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ ኀረዮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወለእስራኤልኒ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለርስቱ ።

   For Yahweh has chosen Jacob for himself, and Israel for his own possession.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ ኣእመርኩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወአምላክነሂ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ አማልክት ።

   For I have known that Yahweh is great, and our God is above all gods.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ኵሎ ፡ ዘፈቀደ ፡ ገብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ በሰማይኒ ፡ ወበምድርኒ ፤ በባሕርኒ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ቀላያት ።

   All that he willed, Yahweh did, in heaven and on earth, in the sea and in all the deeps.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ያዐርግ ፡ ደመናተ ፡ እምአጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ፤ ወገብረ ፡ መብረቀ ፡ ለጊዜ ፡ ዝናም ። ዘያወፅኦሙ ፡ ለነፋሳት ፡ እመዛግብቲሆሙ ።

   He brings up the clouds from the ends of the earth; he made lightning for the time of rain; he brings forth the winds out of his storehouses.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ዘቀተለ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ በኵሮሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፤ እምሰብእ ፡ ወእስከ ፡ እንስሳ ።

   He who struck down all the firstborn of Egypt, from man even to beast.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ፈነወ ፡ ተኣምረ ፡ ወመንክረ ፡ ማእከሌኪ ፡ ግብጽ ፤ ላዕለ ፡ ፈርዖን ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ አግብርቲሁ ።

   He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh and upon all his servants.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ዘቀተለ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ብዙኃነ ፤ ወቀተለ ፡ ነገሥተ ፡ ጽኑዓነ ፤

    He who struck down many nations, and slew mighty kings,

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ለሴዎን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ወለዖግ ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ባሳን ፤ ወለኵሎሙ ፡ ነገሥተ ፡ ከናዐን ።

    Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ወወሀበ ፡ ምድሮሙ ፡ ርስተ ፤ ርስተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ገብሩ ።

    And he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his servant.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ስምኬ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ ወዝክርከኒ ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።

    Your name, O Yahweh, endures forever; and your remembrance to generation and generation.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    እስመ ፡ ይኴንን ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሕዝቦ ፤ ወይትናበብ ፡ በእንተ ፡ አግብርቲሁ ።

    For Yahweh shall judge his people, and shall be entreated concerning his servants.

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    አማልክቲሆሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ዘወርቅ ፡ ወብሩር ፤ ግብረ ፡ እደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።

    The idols of the nations are of gold and silver, the work of the hands of the sons of men.

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    አፈ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ወኢይነቡ ፤ አዕይንተ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ወኢይሬእዩ ።

    They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see.

17. Verse 17.፲፯

    እዝነ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ወኢይሰምዑ ፤ አንፈ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ወኢያጼንዉ ። እደ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ወኢይገሱ ፤ እግረ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ወኢየሐውሩ ፤ ወኢይነቡ ፡ በጐራዒቶሙ ። ወአልቦሙ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አፉሆሙ ።

    They have ears, but they do not hear; they have noses, but they do not smell. They have hands, but they do not feel; they have feet, but they do not walk; nor do they make a sound in their throats. And there is no breath in their mouths.

18. Verse 18.፲፰

    ከማሆሙ ፡ ለይኩኑ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ገብርዎሙ ፤ ወኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትአመኑ ፡ ቦሙ ።

    Let those who make them become like them, and all who trust in them.

19. Verse 19.፲፱

    ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ባርክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ቤተ ፡ አሮን ፡ ባርክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

    O house of Israel, bless Yahweh; O house of Aaron, bless Yahweh.

20. Verse 20.፳

    ቤተ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ባርክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ እለ ፡ ትፈርህዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ባርክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

    O house of Levi, bless Yahweh; you who fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh.

21. Verse 21.፳፩

    ቡሩክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በጽዮን ፤ ዘየኀድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ።

    Blessed be Yahweh in Zion, he who dwells in Jerusalem.
