መዝሙር ፻፴

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበመዓርጊሁ ። እግዚኦ ፡ ኢይትዐበየኒ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ወኢይዛዋዕ ፡ አዕይንትየ ። ወኢሖርኩ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ዐበይት ፡ ወኢምስለ ፡ እለ ፡ ይከብሩ ፡ እምኔየ ።

   A Song of the Ascents. O Yahweh, my heart is not lifted up, nor are my eyes haughty. And I have not walked among great things, nor among things too lofty for me.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ዘእንበለ ፡ ዘአትሐትኩ ፡ ርእስየ ፡ ወከላሕኩ ፡ በቃልየ ፤ ከመ ፡ ዘአኅደግዎ ፡ ጥበ ፡ እሙ ፤ ከመ ፡ ትዕስያ ፡ ለነፍስየ ።

   Rather, I have humbled myself and quieted my voice, like a child weaned from its mother's breast; such is the reward of my soul.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ተወከለ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፤ እምይእዜ ፡ ወእስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።

   Let Israel trust in Yahweh, from now and forever.
