መዝሙር ፻፳፱

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበመዓርጊሁ ። እምዕምቅ ፡ ጸዋዕኩከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

   A Song of the Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to you, O Yahweh.

2. Verse 2.፪

   እግዚኦ ፡ ስምዐኒ ፡ ቃልየ ፤ ወይኩን ፡ እዝንከ ፡ ዘያፀምእ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ስእለትየ ።

   O Yahweh, hear my voice; and let your ear be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

3. Verse 3.፫

   እመሰ ፡ ኃጢአተኑ ፡ ትትዐቀብ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ መኑ ፡ ይቀውም ።

   If you should mark iniquities, O Yahweh, O Yahweh, who shall stand?

4. Verse 4.፬

   እስመ ፡ እምኀቤከ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሣህል ፤ በእንተ ፡ ስምከ ።

   For from you comes mercy; for the sake of your name.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ተሰፈውኩከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ተዐገሠት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ በሕግከ ።

   I have hoped in you, O Yahweh; my soul has waited in your law.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ተወከለት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፤ እምሰዓት ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሌሊት ። እምሰዓት ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ ተወከለ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ።

   My soul has trusted in Yahweh, from the morning watch until night. From the morning watch let Israel trust in Yahweh.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እስመ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሣህል ፤ ወብዙኅ ፡ አድኅና ፡ በኀቤሁ ።

   For from Yahweh comes mercy, and with him is abundant deliverance.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወውእቱ ፡ ያድኅኖ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ኃጢአቱ ።

   And he shall deliver Israel from all his iniquities.
