መዝሙር ፻፳፯

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበመዓርጊሁ ። ብፁዓን ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይፈርህዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ እለ ፡ የሐውሩ ፡ በፍናዊሁ ።

   A Song of the Ascents. Blessed are all those who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ፍሬ ፡ ጻማከ ፡ ትሴሰይ ። ብፁዕ ፡ አንተ ፡ ወሠናይ ፡ ለከ ።

   You shall eat the fruit of your labor. Blessed are you, and it shall be well with you.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ብእሲትከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ወይን ፡ ስሙር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽርሐ ፡ ቤትከ ፤ ወውሉድከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ተክለ ፡ ዘይት ፡ ሐይት ፡ ሐዲስ ፡ ዐውድ ፡ ማእድከ ።

   Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine within the chambers of your house; and your children like young olive shoots around your table.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ናሁ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይትባረክ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘይፈርሆ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

   Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears Yahweh.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ይባርከከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እምጽዮን ፤ ወትሬኢ ፡ ሠናይታ ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወትከ ።

   May Yahweh bless you out of Zion; and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወትሬኢ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ውሉድከ ፤ ሰላም ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እስራኤል ።

   And may you see your children's children; peace be upon Israel.
