መዝሙር ፻፳፭

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበመዓርጊሁ ። አመ ፡ ሜጠ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፄዋ ፡ ጽዮን ፤ ኮነ ፡ ፍሡሓን ።

   A Song of the Ascents. When Yahweh restored the captivity of Zion, they became as those who rejoice.

2. Verse 2.፪

   አሜሃ ፡ መልአ ፡ ፍሥሓ ፡ አፉነ ፤ ወተሐሥየ ፡ ልሳንነ ። አሜሃ ፡ ይቤሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ ኣዕበየ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   Then our mouth was filled with gladness, and our tongue with joy. Then they said among the nations, Yahweh has done great things for them.

3. Verse 3.፫

   [ኣዕበየ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ለነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።] ወኮነ ፡ ፍሡሓነ ።

   [Yahweh has done great things for us.] And we became glad.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ሚጥ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ፄዋነ ፤ ከመ ፡ ውሒዝ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አዜብ ።

   Restore our captivity, O Yahweh, like a torrent in the south.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እለ ፡ ይዘርዑ ፡ በአንብዕ ፡ በሐሤት ፡ የአርሩ ።

   Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ሶበሰ ፡ የሐውሩ ፡ ወፈሩ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይበክዩ ፡ ወጾሩ ፡ ዘርዖሙ ፤ ወሶበ ፡ የአትዉ ፡ ምጽኡ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይትፌሥሑ ፡ ወጾሩ ፡ ከላስስቲሆሙ ።

   When they go forth, they went weeping, sowing their seed; but when they return, they will come rejoicing, carrying their sheaves.
