መዝሙር ፻፳፬

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበመዓርጊሁ ። እለ ፡ ተወከሉ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ጽዮን ፤ ኢይትሀወክ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ዘየኀድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ።

   A Song of the Ascents. Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion; he who dwells in Jerusalem shall never be shaken.

2. Verse 2.፪

   አድባር ፡ የዐውዳ ፤ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ይሜግብ ፡ ሕዝቦ ፡ እምይእዜ ፡ ወእስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።

   Mountains surround her, and Yahweh shall protect his people, from now and forever.

3. Verse 3.፫

   እስመ ፡ ኢየኀድግ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በትረ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ ዲበ ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ ጻድቃን ፤ ከመ ፡ ኢያንሥኡ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፡ ጻድቃን ፡ በዐመፃ ።

   For Yahweh will not leave the rod of the wicked upon the lot of the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to iniquity.

4. Verse 4.፬

   አሠኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ለኄራን ፡ ወለርቱዓነ ፡ ልብ ።

   Do good, O Yahweh, to the good and to the upright in heart.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ወእለሰ ፡ ይትመየጡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፁግ ፤ ይወስዶሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምስለ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዐመፃ ። ሰላም ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እስራኤል ።

   But those who turn aside into crooked ways, Yahweh shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.
