መዝሙር ፻፳

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅሌት ፡ ዘበመዓርጊሁ ። አንሣእኩ ፡ አዕይንትየ ፡ መንገለ ፡ አድባር ፤ እምአይቴ ፡ ይምጻእ ፡ ረድኤትየ ።

   A Song of the Ascents. I lifted up my eyes toward the mountains; from where shall my help come?

2. Verse 2.፪

   ረድኤትየሰ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ዘገብረ ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወምድረ ።

   My help is from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወኢይሁቦን ፡ ሁከተ ፡ ለእገሪከ ፤ ወኢይዴቅስ ፡ ዘየዐቅበከ ።

   He will not give your feet to stumbling, and he who keeps you will not slumber.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ናሁ ፡ ኢይዴቅስ ፡ ወኢይነውም ፡ ዘየዐቅቦ ፡ ለእስራኤል ።

   Behold, he who keeps Israel will not slumber nor sleep.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይዕቀብከ ፤ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ይክድንከ ፡ በየማነ ፡ እዴሁ ።

   Yahweh shall keep you, and Yahweh shall cover you by his right hand.

6. Verse 6.፮

   መዐልተ ፡ ፀሐይ ፡ ኢያውዒከ ፤ ወኢወርኅ ፡ በሌሊት ።

   By day the sun shall not burn you, nor the moon by night.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይዕቀብከ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ እኩይ ፤ ወይትማኅፀና ፡ ለነፍስከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   Yahweh shall keep you from all evil; Yahweh shall guard your soul.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይዕቀብከ ፡ በንግደትከ ፡ ወበእትወትከ ፤ እምይእዜ ፡ ወእስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።

   Yahweh shall keep your going out and your coming in, from now and forever.
