መዝሙር ፻፲፰

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። ፩ ፤ አሌፍ ። ብፁአን ፡ እለ ፡ ንጹሓን ፡ በፍኖቶሙ ፤ እለ ፡ ይሐውሩ ፡ በሕገ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   Hallelujah. (1, Aleph) Blessed are those who are pure in their way, who walk in the law of Yahweh.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ብፁዓን ፡ እለ ፡ ይኀሡ ፡ ስምዖ ፤ ወበኵሉ ፡ ልቦሙ ፡ ይኀሥዎ ።

   Blessed are those who seek his testimony, and seek him with all their heart.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወእለሰ ፡ ይገብሩ ፡ ዐመፃ ፤ ፍኖተ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ኢሖሩ ።

   And those who work iniquity have not walked in his way.

4. Verse 4.፬

   አንተ ፡ አዘዝከ ፡ ይዕቀቡ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ፈድፋደ ።

   You have commanded that your commandments be kept diligently.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ይረትዕሰ ፡ ይርታዕ ፡ ፍኖትየ ፤ ከመ ፡ እዕቀብ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

   Oh that my way may be made straight, so that I may keep your ordinances.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ውእቱ ፡ ጊዜ ፡ ኢይትኀፈር ፤ በርእየ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ።

   Then I shall not be ashamed, when I look upon all your commandments.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ በልብ ፡ ርቱዕ ፤ ሶበ ፡ ተመሀርኩ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ጽድቅከ ።

   I give thanks to you, O Yahweh, with an upright heart, when I have learned the ordinances of your righteousness.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ወአዐቅብ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፤ ወኢትግድፈኒ ፡ ለዝሉፉ ።

   And I will keep your ordinances; do not forsake me utterly.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ፪ ፤ ቤት ። በምንተ ፡ ያረትዕ ፡ ወሬዛ ፡ ፍኖቶ ፤ በዐቂበ ፡ ነቢብከ ።

   (2, Beth) By what shall a young man make his way straight? By keeping your word.

10. Verse 10.፲

    በኵሉ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ኀሠሥኩከ ፤ ኢታርሕቀኒ ፡ እምትእዛዝከ ።

    With all my heart I have sought you; do not let me stray from your commandments.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ውስተ ፡ ክብየ ፡ ኀባእኩ ፡ ነቢበከ ፤ ከመ ፡ ኢየአብስ ፡ ለከ ።

    In my heart I have hidden your word, so that I may not sin against you.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ብሩክ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ወምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

    Blessed are you, O Yahweh; teach me your ordinances.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    በከናፍርየ ፡ ነገርኩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ኰነኔ ፡ አፉከ ።

    With my lips I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    በፍኖተ ፡ ስመዕከ ፡ ተፈሣሕኩ ፤ ከመ ፡ ዘበኵሉ ፡ ብዕል ።

    In the way of your testimony I have rejoiced, as over all riches.

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    ወእዛዋዕ ፡ በትእዛዝከ ፤ ወአኀሥሥ ፡ ፍናዊከ ።

    And I will meditate on your commandments, and consider your ways.

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    ወኣነብብ ፡ ትእዛዛቲከ ፤ ወኢይረስዕ ፡ ቃለከ ።

    And I will recite your commandments, and I will not forget your word.

17. Verse 17.፲፯

    ፫ ፤ ጋሜል ። ዕስዮ ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ ከመ ፡ እሕዮ ፤ ወእዕቀብ ፡ ነቢበከ ።

    (3, Gimel) Reward your servant, that I may live, and I will keep your word.

18. Verse 18.፲፰

    ክሥቶን ፡ ለአዕይንትየ ፡ ወእርአይ ፤ መድምመከ ፡ እምሕግከ ።

    Open my eyes, that I may see the wonders out of your law.

19. Verse 19.፲፱

    ፈላሲ ፡ አነ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፤ ኢትኅባእ ፡ እምኔየ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

    I am a sojourner upon the earth; do not hide your commandments from me.

20. Verse 20.፳

    አፍቀረት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ወፈተወት ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ።

    My soul has loved and longed for your ordinances at all times.

21. Verse 21.፳፩

    ገሠጽኮሙ ፡ ለዕቡያን ፤ ርጉማን ፡ እለ ፡ ይትገሐሡ ፡ እምትእዛዝከ ።

    You have rebuked the proud; cursed are those who turn aside from your commandments.

22. Verse 22.፳፪

    ኣእትት ፡ እምኔየ ፡ ጽእለተ ፡ ወኀሳረ ፤ እስመ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ኀሠሥኩ ።

    Take away from me reproach and shame, for I have sought your commandments.

23. Verse 23.፳፫

    እስመ ፡ ነበሩ ፡ መላእክት ፡ ወኪያየ ፡ ሐመዩ ፤ ወገብርከሰ ፡ ይዛዋዕ ፡ በኵነኔከ ።

    For rulers sat and slandered me, but your servant meditated on your ordinances.

24. Verse 24.፳፬

    እስመ ፡ ስምዕከ ፡ ተመሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ፤ ወምክርየኒ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ዚአከ ።

    For your testimony is my instruction, and your ordinances are my counsel.

25. Verse 25.፳፭

    ፬ ፤ ዳሌጥ ። ጠግዐት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ በምድር ፤ ኣሕይወኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ።

    (4, Daleth) My soul has cleaved to the ground; revive me according to your word.

26. Verse 26.፳፮

    ነገርኩ ፡ ፍናዊከ ፡ ወሰማዕከኒ ፤ ወምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

    I declared my ways and you heard me; teach me your ordinances.

27. Verse 27.፳፯

    ፍኖተ ፡ ጽድቅከ ፡ አለብወኒ ፤ ወእዛዋዕ ፡ በመንክርከ ።

    Make me understand the way of your righteousness, and I will meditate on your wonders.

28. Verse 28.፳፰

    ደቀሰት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ እምሐዘን ፤ አጽንዐኒ ፡ በነቢብከ ።

    My soul has dozed away from sorrow; strengthen me by your word.

29. Verse 29.፳፱

    ፍኖተ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ አርሕቅ ፡ እምኔየ ፤ ወበሕግከ ፡ ተሣሀለኒ ።

    Remove the way of iniquity from me, and have mercy on me through your law.

30. Verse 30.፴

    ፍኖተ ፡ ጽድቅከ ፡ አብደርኩ ፤ ወኵነኔከሰ ፡ ኢረሳዕኩ ።

    I have chosen the way of your righteousness, and I have not forgotten your ordinances.

31. Verse 31.፴፩

    ተለውኩ ፡ ስምዐከ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ ኢታስተኀፍረኒ ።

    I have followed your testimony; O Yahweh, do not put me to shame.

32. Verse 32.፴፪

    ፍኖተ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፡ ሮጽኩ ፤ ሶበ ፡ አርሐብኮ ፡ ለልብየ ።

    I have run the way of your commandments, when you enlarged my heart.

33. Verse 33.፴፫

    ፭ ፤ ሄ ። ምህረኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ጽድቅከ ፤ ወእኅሥሣ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ።

    (5, He) Teach me, O Yahweh, the way of your righteousness, and I will seek it at all times.

34. Verse 34.፴፬

    አለብወኒ ፡ ወእኅሥሥ ፡ ሕገከ ፤ ወእዕቀቦ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብየ ።

    Make me understand, and I will seek out your law, and I will keep it with all my heart.

35. Verse 35.፴፭

    ምርሐኒ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኪያሃ ፡ ፈቀድኩ ።

    Lead me in the way of your commandments, for in it I have delighted.

36. Verse 36.፴፮

    ሚጥ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ስምዕከ ፤ ወአኮ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕግልት ።

    Turn my heart toward your testimony, and not toward covetousness.

37. Verse 37.፴፯

    ሚጦን ፡ ለአዕይንትየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይርአያ ፡ ከንቶ ፤ ወኣሕይወኒ ፡ በፍኖትከ ።

    Turn away my eyes so that they may not see vanity, and revive me in your way.

38. Verse 38.፴፰

    አቅም ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ ዘነበብከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ነቢብከ ።

    Establish for your servant what you have spoken in your word.

39. Verse 39.፴፱

    ኣእትት ፡ እምኔየ ፡ ጽእለተ ፡ ዘተሐዘብኩ ፤ እስመ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

    Take away from me the reproach which I have dreaded, for your ordinances are good.

40. Verse 40.፵

    ናሁ ፡ ፈተውኩ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፤ ወኣሕይወኒ ፡ በጽድቅከ ።

    Behold, I have longed for your commandments; revive me in your righteousness.

41. Verse 41.፵፩

    ፮ ፤ ዋው ። ወይምጻእ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ አድኅኖትከ ፡ በከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ።

    (6, Waw) And let your mercy come upon me, O Yahweh, your salvation according to your word, O Yahweh.

42. Verse 42.፵፪

    አውሥኦሙ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይጼእሉኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ተወከልኩ ፡ በቃልከ ።

    And I will answer a word to those who reproach me, for I have trusted in your word.

43. Verse 43.፵፫

    ወኢታእትት ፡ ቃለ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ እምአፉየ ፡ ለግሙራ ፤ እስመ ፡ ተወከልኩ ፡ በኵነኔከ ።

    And do not take the word of truth utterly from my mouth, for I have trusted in your ordinances.

44. Verse 44.፵፬

    ወአዐቅብ ፡ ሕገከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፤ ለዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ።

    And I will keep your law at all times, forever and unto the age of the age.

45. Verse 45.፵፭

    ወአሐውር ፡ ስፉሕ ፤ እስመ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ኀሠሥኩ ።

    And I will walk in a broad place, for I have sought your commandments.

46. Verse 46.፵፮

    ወእነግር ፡ ስምዐከ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ነገሥተ ፤ ወኢይትኀፈር ።

    And I will speak of your testimony before kings, and I will not be ashamed.

47. Verse 47.፵፯

    ወኣነብብ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፤ ዘአፍቀርኩ ፡ ጥቀ ።

    And I will recite your commandments, which I have greatly loved.

48. Verse 48.፵፰

    ወኣነሥእ ፡ እደውየ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፡ ዘአፍቀርኩ ፤ ወእዛዋዕ ፡ በትእዛዝከ ።

    And I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate on your commandments.

49. Verse 49.፵፱

    ፯ ፤ ዛይ ። ተዘከር ፡ ቃለከ ፡ ዘአሰፈውኮ ፡ ለገብርከ ።

    (7, Zayin) Remember your word to your servant, by which you have given me hope.

50. Verse 50.፶

    ወይእቲ ፡ አስተፈሥሐተኒ ፡ በሕማምየ ፤ እስመ ፡ ቃልከ ፡ ኣሕየወኒ ።

    And this has comforted me in my affliction, for your word has revived me.

51. Verse 51.፶፩

    ዕቡያን ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፤ ወእምሕግከሰ ፡ ኢተገሐሥኩ ።

    The proud have done iniquity exceedingly, yet I have not turned aside from your law.

52. Verse 52.፶፪

    ወተዘከርኩ ፡ ፍትሐከ ፡ ዘእምዓለም ፤ ወተፈሣሕኩ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

    And I remembered your judgments from of old, O Yahweh, and I rejoiced.

53. Verse 53.፶፫

    ሐዘን ፡ አኀዘኒ ፡ እምኃጥኣን ፤ እለ ፡ ኀደጉ ፡ ሕገከ ።

    Sorrow has seized me because of the sinners who have forsaken your law.

54. Verse 54.፶፬

    መዝሙር ፡ ኮነኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፤ በብሔር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ፈለስኩ ።

    Your ordinances have been my song in the land where I sojourned.

55. Verse 55.፶፭

    ተዘከርኩ ፡ በሌሊት ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወዐቀብኩ ፡ ሕገከ ።

    I remembered your name in the night, O Yahweh, and I kept your law.

56. Verse 56.፶፮

    ወይእቲ ፡ ኮነተኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ ኀሠሥኩ ።

    And this has become mine, because I have sought your ordinances.

57. Verse 57.፶፯

    ፰ ፤ ሔት ። ክፍልየ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወእቤ ፡ ይዕቀቡ ፡ ሕገከ ።

    (8, Heth) Yahweh is my portion; I said that I would keep your law.

58. Verse 58.፶፰

    ሰአልኩ ፡ ገጸከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብየ ፤ ተሣሀለኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ።

    I have sought your face with all my heart, O Yahweh; have mercy on me according to your word.

59. Verse 59.፶፱

    ወሐለይኩ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ፍናዊከ ፤ ወሜጥኩ ፡ እግርየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ስምዕከ ።

    And I considered your ways, and I turned my feet toward your testimony.

60. Verse 60.፷

    አጥባዕኩ ፡ ወኢናፈቁ ፤ ለዐቂበ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ።

    I made haste and did not delay to keep your commandments.

61. Verse 61.፷፩

    አሕባለ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ ተፀፍራ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፤ ወሕገከሰ ፡ ኢረሳዕኩ ።

    The cords of the sinners have entangled me, yet I have not forgotten your law.

62. Verse 62.፷፪

    መንፍቀ ፡ ሌሊት ፡ እትነሣእ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግነይ ፡ ለከ ፤ በእንተ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ጽድቅከ ።

    At midnight I rise to give thanks to you, because of the ordinances of your righteousness.

63. Verse 63.፷፫

    ከማሆሙ ፡ አነ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይፈርሁከ ፤ ወለእለ ፡ የዐቅቡ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

    I am a companion of all who fear you, and of those who keep your commandments.

64. Verse 64.፷፬

    ሣህልከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ መልአ ፡ ምድረ ፤ ወምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

    Your compassion, O Yahweh, has filled the earth; teach me your ordinances.

65. Verse 65.፷፭

    ፱ ፤ ጤት ። ሠናይተ ፡ ገበርከ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ገብርከ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ በከመ ፡ ቃልከ ።

    (9, Teth) You have dealt well with your servant, O Yahweh, according to your word.

66. Verse 66.፷፮

    ሠናይተ ፡ ምክር ፡ ወጥበበ ፡ ምህረኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ተአመንኩ ፡ በትእዛዝከ ።

    Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I have trusted in your commandments.

67. Verse 67.፷፯

    ወአንሰ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ እሕምም ፡ ነሳሕኩ ፤ ወበእንተዝ ፡ አነ ፡ ዐቀብኩ ፡ ነቢበከ ።

    Before I was afflicted I went astray, but because of this I have now kept your word.

68. Verse 68.፷፰

    ኄር ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወበኂሩትከ ፡ ምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

    You are good, O Yahweh; in your goodness teach me your ordinances.

69. Verse 69.፷፱

    በዝኀ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ዐመፃሆሙ ፡ ለዕቡያን ፤ ወአንሰ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ኀሠሥኩ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

    The iniquity of the proud has multiplied against me, but I, with all my heart, have sought your commandments.

70. Verse 70.፸

    ረግዐ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሐሊብ ፡ ልቦሙ ፤ ወአንሰ ፡ ኣነብብ ፡ በሕግከ ።

    Their heart has curdled like milk, but I recite your law.

71. Verse 71.፸፩

    ደለወኒ ፡ ዘኣሕመምከኒ ፤ ከመ ፡ አእምር ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

    It was good for me that you afflicted me, that I might learn your ordinances.

72. Verse 72.፸፪

    ይኄይሰኒ ፡ ሕገ ፡ አፉከ ፤ እምኣእላፍ ፡ ወርቅ ፡ ወብሩር ።

    The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.

73. Verse 73.፸፫

    ፲ ፤ ዮድ ። እደዊከ ፡ ገብራኒ ፡ ወለሐኳኒ ፤ ኣለብወኒ ፡ ወእትመሀር ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

    (10, Yodh) Your hands made me and fashioned me; make me understand, that I may learn your commandments.

74. Verse 74.፸፬

    እለ ፡ ይፈርሁከ ፡ ይርእዩኒ ፡ ወይትፌሥሑ ፤ እስመ ፡ ተወከልኩ ፡ በነቢብከ ።

    Those who fear you will see me and rejoice, for I have trusted in your word.

75. Verse 75.፸፭

    ኣእመርኩ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፤ ወበርቱዕ ፡ ኣሕመምከኒ ።

    I have known, O Yahweh, that your ordinances are righteous, and in uprightness you have afflicted me.

76. Verse 76.፸፮

    ይኩነኒ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተፈሥሐኒ ፤ ወበከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ፡ ይኩኖ ፡ ለገብርከ ።

    Let your mercy be to comfort me, and according to your word let it be to your servant.

77. Verse 77.፸፯

    ይምጽአኒ ፡ ሣህልከ ፡ ወእሕየው ፤ እስመ ፡ ተመሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሕግከ ።

    Let your compassion come to me, that I may live, for your law is my instruction.

78. Verse 78.፸፰

    ይትኀፈሩ ፡ ዕቡያን ፡ እስመ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ መከሩ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፤ ወአንሰ ፡ እዛዋዕ ፡ በትእዛዝከ ።

    Let the proud be ashamed, for they have plotted iniquity against me, but I will meditate on your commandments.

79. Verse 79.፸፱

    ይግብኡኒ ፡ እለ ፡ ይፈርሁከ ፤ ወእለ ፡ ያአምሩ ፡ ስምዐከ ።

    Let those who fear you turn to me, and those who know your testimony.

80. Verse 80.፹

    ለይኩን ፡ ልብየ ፡ ንጹሐ ፡ በኵነኔከ ፤ ከመ ፡ ኢይተኀፈር ።

    Let my heart be pure in your ordinances, that I may not be ashamed.

81. Verse 81.፹፩

    ፲፩ ፤ ካፍ ። ኀለፈት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድኅኖትከ ፤ ወተወከልኩ ፡ በቃልከ ።

    (11, Kaph) My soul has fainted for your salvation, and I have trusted in your word.

82. Verse 82.፹፪

    ደክማ ፡ አዕይንትየ ፡ ለመድኀኒትከ ፤ እንዘ ፡ ይብላ ፡ ማእዜ ፡ ታስተፌሥሐኒ ።

    My eyes have grown weak for your salvation, while they say, 'When will you comfort me?'

83. Verse 83.፹፫

    እስመ ፡ ኮንኩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዝቅ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አስሐትያ ፤ ወኵነኔከሰ ፡ ኢረሳዕኩ ።

    For I have become like a wineskin in the frost, yet I have not forgotten your ordinances.

84. Verse 84.፹፬

    ሚመጠን ፡ እማንቱ ፡ መዋዕሊሁ ፡ ለገብርከ ፤ ወማእዜ ፡ ትፈትሕ ፡ ሊተ ፡ እምእለ ፡ ይሰዱኒ ።

    How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment for me against those who persecute me?

85. Verse 85.፹፭

    ነገሩኒ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ ዘውዐ ፤ ወአኮሰ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሕግከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

    The sinners told me idle tales, but it was not according to your law, O Yahweh.

86. Verse 86.፹፮

    ኵሉ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፡ ጽድቅ ፤ በዐመፃ ፡ ሰደዱኒ ፡ ርድአኒ ።

    All your commandments are righteousness; they have persecuted me wrongfully; help me.

87. Verse 87.፹፯

    ሕቀ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘእምደምሰሱኒ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፤ ወአንሰ ፡ ኢኀደጉ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

    They almost destroyed me on the earth, but I have not forsaken your commandments.

88. Verse 88.፹፰

    በከመ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፡ ኣሕይወኒ ፤ ወእዕቀብ ፡ ስምዐ ፡ አፉከ ።

    According to your mercy revive me, and I will keep the testimony of your mouth.

89. Verse 89.፹፱

    ፲፪ ፤ ላሜድ ። እግዚኦ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ይነብር ፡ ቃልከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሰማይ ።

    (12, Lamedh) O Yahweh, your word abides forever in heaven.

90. Verse 90.፺

    ወለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ፡ ጽድቅከ ፤ ሳረርካ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወትነብር ።

    And your righteousness is unto generations of generations; you established the earth, and it abides.

91. Verse 91.፺፩

    ወበትእዛዝከ ፡ ይቀውም ፡ ዕለት ፤ እስመ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ቀነይከ ።

    And by your commandment the day stands, for you have made all things servants.

92. Verse 92.፺፪

    ሶበ ፡ አኮ ፡ ሕግከ ፡ ተመሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ፤ ትካት ፡ እምተሐጐልኩ ፡ በኀሳርየ ።

    If your law had not been my instruction, then I would have perished long ago in my affliction.

93. Verse 93.፺፫

    ለዓለም ፡ ኢይረስዕ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ አሕየውከኒ ።

    I will never forget your ordinances, for by them you have revived me.

94. Verse 94.፺፬

    ዘዚአከ ፡ አነ ፡ አድኅነኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ ኀሠሥኩ ።

    I am yours; save me, for I have sought your ordinances.

95. Verse 95.፺፭

    ኪያየ ፡ ይጸንሑ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ ይቅትሉኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ስምዐከ ፡ ለበውኩ ።

    The sinners wait for me to kill me, but I have understood your testimony.

96. Verse 96.፺፮

    ለኵሉ ፡ ግብር ፡ ርኢኩ ፡ ማኅለቅቶ ፤ ወትእዛዝከሰ ፡ ርሒብ ፡ ፈድፋደ ።

    I have seen the end of every work, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.

97. Verse 97.፺፯

    ፲፫ ፤ ሜም ። ጥቀ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ፡ ሕገከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ኵሎ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ተምሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ።

    (13, Mem) How greatly I have loved your law, O Yahweh; it is my instruction all the day.

98. Verse 98.፺፰

    እምጸላእትየ ፡ አጥበበኒ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ሊተ ፡ ውእቱ ።

    Your commandment has made me wiser than my enemies, for it is mine forever.

99. Verse 99.፺፱

    እምኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ መሀሩኒ ፡ ጠበብኩ ፤ እስመ ፡ ተመሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ።

    I have become wiser than all who taught me, for your commandment is my instruction.

100. Verse 100.፻

     ወእምአእሩግኒ ፡ ጠበብኩ ፤ እስመ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ኀሠሥኩ ።

     And I have become wiser than the elders, for I have sought your commandments.

101. Verse 101.፻፩

     እምኵሉ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ከላእኩ ፡ እግርየ ፤ ከመ ፡ እዕቀብ ፡ ነቢበከ ።

     I have kept my feet from every way of iniquity, that I may keep your word.

102. Verse 102.፻፪

     ወኢተገሐስኩ ፡ እምኵነኔከ ፤ እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ መሀርከኒ ።

     And I have not turned aside from your ordinances, for you have taught me.

103. Verse 103.፻፫

     ጥዑም ፡ ለጕርዔየ ፡ ነቢብከ ፤ እምዓር ፡ ወሶከር ፡ ጥዕመኒ ፡ ለአፉየ ።

     Your word is sweet to my throat, sweeter than honey and the honeycomb to my mouth.

104. Verse 104.፻፬

     እምትእዛዝከ ፡ ለበውኩ ፤ በእንተዝ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ጸላእኩ ።

     I have understood from your commandments; therefore I have hated every way of iniquity.

105. Verse 105.፻፭

     ፲፬ ፤ ኖን ። ማሕቶት ፡ ለእግርየ ፡ ሕግከ ፤ ብርሃን ፡ ለፍኖትየ ።

     (14, Nun) Your law is a lamp for my feet, a light for my way.

106. Verse 106.፻፮

     መሐልኩ ፡ ወአጥባዕኩ ፤ ከመ ፡ እዕቀብ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ጽድቅከ ።

     I have sworn and resolved that I will keep the ordinances of your righteousness.

107. Verse 107.፻፯

     ሐመምኩ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ ኣሕይወኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ።

     I am exceedingly afflicted; O Yahweh, revive me according to your word.

108. Verse 108.፻፰

     ሥመር ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ቃለ ፡ አፉየ ፤ ወምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

     Be pleased, O Yahweh, with the word of my mouth, and teach me your ordinances.

109. Verse 109.፻፱

     ነፍስየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፤ ወኢረሳዕኩ ፡ ሕገከ ።

     My soul is in your hand at all times, and I have not forgotten your law.

110. Verse 110.፻፲

     ሠርዑ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ መሥገርተ ፤ ወኢስሕትኩ ፡ እምትእዛዝከ ።

     The sinners have set a snare for me, but I have not gone astray from your commandments.

111. Verse 111.፻፲፩

     ወረስኩ ፡ ስምዐከ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ እስመ ፡ ሐሤቱ ፡ ለልብየ ፡ ውእቱ ።

     I have made your testimony my inheritance forever, for it is the joy of my heart.

112. Verse 112.፻፲፪

     ሜጥኩ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግበር ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፤ ለዓለም ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ሒስ ።

     I have inclined my heart to do your commandments forever, without fail.

113. Verse 113.፻፲፫

     ፲፭ ፤ ሳምኬት ። ዐማፂያነ ፡ ጻላእኩ ፤ ወሕገከሰ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ።

     (15, Samekh) I have hated the lawless, but I have loved your law.

114. Verse 114.፻፲፬

     ረዳኢየ ፡ ወምስካይየ ፡ አንተ ፤ ወበቃልከ ፡ ተወከልኩ ።

     You are my helper and my refuge, and in your word I have trusted.

115. Verse 115.፻፲፭

     ተገሐሡ ፡ እምኔየ ፡ ዐማፂያን ፤ ወእኅሥሥ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ለአምላኪየ ።

     Depart from me, you lawless ones, and I will seek the commandments of my God.

116. Verse 116.፻፲፮

     ተወከፈኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ፡ ወእሕየው ፤ ወኢታስተኀፍረኒ ፡ እምተስፋየ ።

     Receive me according to your word, and I will live; and do not put me to shame in my hope.

117. Verse 117.፻፲፯

     ርድእኒ ፡ ወአድኅነኒ ፤ ወኣነብብ ፡ በኵነኔከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ።

     Help me and save me, and I will meditate on your ordinances at all times.

118. Verse 118.፻፲፰

     ኣኅሰርኮሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይርሕቁ ፡ እምትእዛዝከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ፍትወቶሙ ።

     You have brought low all who stray from your commandments, for their desire is iniquity.

119. Verse 119.፻፲፱

     ዐላውያን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ኃጥኣነ ፡ ምድር ፤ በእንተዝ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ፡ ስምዐከ ።

     All the sinners of the earth are transgressors; therefore I have loved your testimony.

120. Verse 120.፻፳

     አውድድ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሥጋየ ፡ ፈሪሆተከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ፈራህኩ ፡ እምኵነኔከ ።

     Pierce my flesh with the fear of you, for I am afraid of your ordinances.

121. Verse 121.፻፳፩

     ፲፮ ፤ ዔ ፡ ገበርኩ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ወጽድቀ ፤ ኢትመጥወኒ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይሣቅዩኒ ።

     (16, Ayin) I have done judgment and righteousness; do not hand me over to those who oppress me.

122. Verse 122.፻፳፪

     ጽንሖ ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሠናይ ፤ ወኢይትዐገሉኒ ፡ ዕቡያን ።

     Uphold your servant in goodness, and let not the proud oppress me.

123. Verse 123.፻፳፫

     ደክማ ፡ አዕይንትየ ፡ ለአድኅኖትከ ፤ ወለቃለ ፡ ጽድቅከ ።

     My eyes have grown weak for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness.

124. Verse 124.፻፳፬

     ግበር ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ በከመ ፡ ምሕረትከ ፤ ወምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

     Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your ordinances.

125. Verse 125.፻፳፭

     ገብርከ ፡ አነ ፡ ኣለብወኒ ፤ ወኣእምር ፡ ስምዐከ ።

     I am your servant; make me understand, that I may know your testimony.

126. Verse 126.፻፳፮

     ጊዜ ፡ ለገቢር ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ወዐለዉ ፡ ሕገከ ።

     It is time for Yahweh to act, for they have transgressed your law.

127. Verse 127.፻፳፯

     በእንተዝ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፤ እምወርቅ ፡ ወእምጳዝዮን ።

     Therefore I have loved your commandments more than gold and topaz.

128. Verse 128.፻፳፰

     በእንተዝ ፡ አርታዕኩ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ፤ ኵሎ ፡ ፈኖተ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ጸላእኩ ።

     Therefore I have directed myself toward all your commandments; I have hated every way of iniquity.

129. Verse 129.፻፳፱

     ፲፯ ፤ ፌ ። መንክር ፡ ስምዕከ ፤ በእንተዝ ፡ ኀሠሠቶ ፡ ነፍስየ ።

     (17, Pe) Your testimony is wonderful; therefore my soul has sought it.

130. Verse 130.፻፴

     ነገረ ፡ ቃልከ ፡ ያበርህ ፤ ወያጠብብ ፡ ሕፃናተ ።

     The declaration of your word gives light and makes the simple wise.

131. Verse 131.፻፴፩

     አፉየ ፡ ከሠትከ ፡ ወነፍስየ ፡ አናኅኩ ፤ እስመ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ፤

     I opened my mouth and panted, for I longed for your commandments;

132. Verse 132.፻፴፪

     ነጽር ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ወተሣሀለኒ ፤ በከመ ፡ ፍትሖሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ያፍቅሩ ፡ ስመከ ።

     Look upon me and have mercy on me, according to your judgment for those who love your name.

133. Verse 133.፻፴፫

     አርትዕ ፡ ፍኖትየ ፡ ወሑረትየ ፡ በከመ ፡ ነቢብከ ፤ ወአይምአኒ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኀጢአት ።

     Make my way and my walk straight according to your word, and let no iniquity rule over me.

134. Verse 134.፻፴፬

     አድኅነኒ ፡ እምትእግልተ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፤ ወእዕቀብ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

     Deliver me from the oppression of the sons of men, and I will keep your commandments.

135. Verse 135.፻፴፭

     አብርህ ፡ ገጸከ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ገብርከ ፤ ወምህረኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

     Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your ordinances.

136. Verse 136.፻፴፮

     ሙሓዘ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወረደ ፡ እምአዕይንትየ ፤ ወእመአኮሰ ፡ እምኢዐቅብኩ ፡ ሕገከ ።

     Streams of water have run down from my eyes, because I did not keep your law.

137. Verse 137.፻፴፯

     ፲፰ ፤ ጻዴ ። ጻድቅ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወርቱዕ ፡ ኳነኔከ ።

     (18, Tsade) You are righteous, O Yahweh, and your ordinances are upright.

138. Verse 138.፻፴፰

     ወአዘዝከ ፡ ስምዐከ ፡ በጽድቅ ፤ ወርቱዓ ፡ ፈድፋደ ።

     You have commanded your testimony in righteousness, and exceedingly upright.

139. Verse 139.፻፴፱

     መሰወኒ ፡ ቅንአተ ፡ ቤትከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ረስዑ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ጸላእትየ ።

     Zeal for your house has consumed me, because my enemies have forgotten your commandments.

140. Verse 140.፻፵

     ርሱን ፡ ቃልከ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፤ ወገብርከሰ ፡ አፍቀሮ ።

     Your word is exceedingly refined, and your servant has loved it.

141. Verse 141.፻፵፩

     ወሬዛ ፡ አነ ፡ ወትሑት ፤ ወሕገከሰ ፡ ኢረሳዕኩ ።

     I am young and lowly, yet I have not forgotten your law.

142. Verse 142.፻፵፪

     ጽድቅከሰ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፤ ወቃልከኒ ፡ እሙን ፡ ውእቱ ።

     Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your word is faithful.

143. Verse 143.፻፵፫

     ሕማም ፡ ወምንዳቤ ፡ ረከበኒ ፤ ወትእዛዝከሰ ፡ ተመሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ።

     Affliction and distress have found me, yet your commandments are my instruction.

144. Verse 144.፻፵፬

     ጽድቅ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ስምዕከ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ ኣለብወኒ ፡ ወኣሕይወኒ ።

     Your testimony is righteousness forever; make me understand, that I may live.

145. Verse 145.፻፵፭

     ፲፱ ፤ ቆፍ ። ጸራኅኩ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብየ ፡ ስምዐኒ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወኀሠሥኩ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

     (19, Qoph) I have cried out with all my heart; hear me, O Yahweh, and I will seek your ordinances.

146. Verse 146.፻፵፮

     ጸራኅኩ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ ስምዐኒ ፡ ወአድኅነኒ ፤ ወእዕቀብ ፡ ስምዐከ ።

     I have cried out to you; hear me and save me, and I will keep your testimony.

147. Verse 147.፻፵፯

     በጻሕኩ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወከላሕኩ ፤ እስመ ፡ ቃለከ ፡ ተሰፈውኩ ።

     I arrived among the mountains and cried out, for I have hoped in your word.

148. Verse 148.፻፵፰

     በጽሓ ፡ አዕይንትየ ፡ ለገዪስ ፤ ከመ ፡ ኣንብብ ፡ ቃለከ ።

     My eyes have anticipated the early watch, that I may recite your word.

149. Verse 149.፻፵፱

     ሰማዕ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ በከመ ፡ ሣህልከ ፤ ወኣሕይወኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ ፍትሕከ ።

     Hear my voice, O Yahweh, according to your compassion, and revive me according to your judgment.

150. Verse 150.፻፶

     ቀርቡ ፡ እለ ፡ ሮዱኒ ፡ በዐመፃ ፤ ወእምሕግከሰ ፡ ርሕቁ ።

     Those who pursue me in iniquity have drawn near, but they are far from your law.

151. Verse 151.፻፶፩

     ቅሩብ ፡ አንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወርቱዕ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊከ ።

     You are near, O Yahweh, and all your ways are upright.

152. Verse 152.፻፶፪

     እምትካት ፡ አእመርኩ ፡ እምስምዕከ ፤ ከመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ሳረርኮን ።

     From of old I have known from your testimony that you have established it forever.

153. Verse 153.፻፶፫

     ፳ ፤ ሬስ ። ርኢ ፡ ሕማምየ ፡ ወአድኅነኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኢረሳዕኩ ፡ ሕገከ ።

     (20, Resh) See my affliction and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.

154. Verse 154.፻፶፬

     ፍታሕ ፡ ፍትሕየ ፡ ወባልሐኒ ፤ ወበእንተ ፡ ቃልከ ፡ ኣሕይወኒ ።

     Plead my cause and redeem me; revive me for the sake of your word.

155. Verse 155.፻፶፭

     ርሑቅ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ እምኃጥኣን ፤ እስመ ፡ ኢኀሠሡ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

     Life is far from the sinners, for they have not sought your ordinances.

156. Verse 156.፻፶፮

     ብዙኅ ፡ ሣህልከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፤ ወኣሕይወኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ ፍትሕከ ።

     Your compassion is exceedingly great, O Yahweh; revive me according to your judgment.

157. Verse 157.፻፶፯

     ብዙኃን ፡ እለ ፡ ሮዱኒ ፡ ወአመንደቡኒ ፤ ወኢተገሐስኩ ፡ እምስምዕከ ።

     Many are those who pursue me and afflict me, yet I have not turned aside from your testimony.

158. Verse 158.፻፶፰

     ርኢኩ ፡ አብደነ ፡ ወተከዝኩ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኢዐቀቡ ፡ ቃለከ ።

     I saw the foolish and was grieved, because they did not keep your word.

159. Verse 159.፻፶፱

     ርኢ ፡ ከመ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፤ እግዚኦ ፡ ኣሕይወኒ ፡ በሣህልከ ።

     See how I have loved your commandments; O Yahweh, revive me in your compassion.

160. Verse 160.፻፷

     ቀዳሜ ፡ ቃልከ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ውእቱ ፤ ወለዓለም ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ ጽድቅ ።

     The beginning of your word is truth, and all your ordinances are righteous forever.

161. Verse 161.፻፷፩

     ፳፩ ፤ ሳን ። መላእክት ፡ ሰደዱኒ ፡ በከንቱ ፤ ወእምቃልከ ፡ ደንገፀኒ ፡ ልብየ ።

     (21, Shin) Rulers have persecuted me without cause, but my heart has stood in awe of your word.

162. Verse 162.፻፷፪

     ወበቃልከ ፡ ተፈሣሕኩ ፤ ከመ ፡ ዘረከበ ፡ ምህርካ ፡ ብዙኀ ።

     And I have rejoiced in your word, like one who has found great spoil.

163. Verse 163.፻፷፫

     ዐመፃ ፡ ጸላእኩ ፡ ወአስቆረርኩ ፤ ወሕገከሰ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ።

     I have hated iniquity and abhorred it, but I have loved your law.

164. Verse 164.፻፷፬

     ስብዐ ፡ ለዕለትየ ፡ እሴብሐከ ፤ በእንተ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ጽድቅከ ።

     Seven times a day I praise you, because of the ordinances of your righteousness.

165. Verse 165.፻፷፭

     ሰላም ፡ ብዙኅ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ያፍቅሩ ፡ ስመከ ፤ ወአልቦሙ ፡ ዕቅፍተ ።

     Great peace have those who love your name, and there is no stumbling-block for them.

166. Verse 166.፻፷፮

     ተሰፈውኩ ፡ አድኅኖተከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወዐቀብኩ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ።

     I have hoped for your salvation, O Yahweh, and I have kept your commandments.

167. Verse 167.፻፷፯

     ዐቀበት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ስምዐከ ፤ ወአፍቀረቶ ፡ ፈድፋደ ።

     My soul has kept your testimony, and has loved it exceedingly.

168. Verse 168.፻፷፰

     ዐቀብኩ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ወስምዐከኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊየ ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

     I have kept your commandments and your testimony, for all my ways are before you, O Yahweh.

169. Verse 169.፻፷፱

     ፳፪ ፤ ታው ። ለትቅረብ ፡ ስእለትየ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወበከመ ፡ ቃልከ ፡ አለብወኒ ።

     (22, Taw) Let my supplication draw near before you, O Yahweh, and make me understand according to your word.

170. Verse 170.፻፸

     ትብጻሕ ፡ አስተብቍዖትየ ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወበከመ ፡ ቃልከ ፡ አድኅነኒ ።

     Let my petition come before you, O Yahweh, and deliver me according to your word.

171. Verse 171.፻፸፩

     ጐሥዐ ፡ ከናፍርየ ፡ ስብሐቲከ ፤ እስመ ፡ መሀርከኒ ፡ ኵነኔከ ።

     My lips shall pour forth your praise, for you have taught me your ordinances.

172. Verse 172.፻፸፪

     ነበበ ፡ ልሳንየ ፡ ቃለከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ትእዛዝከ ።

     My tongue shall utter your word, for all your commandments are righteousness.

173. Verse 173.፻፸፫

     ይኩነኒ ፡ የማንከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያድኅነኒ ፤ እስመ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ አፍቀርኩ ።

     Let your right hand be ready to save me, for I have loved your commandments.

174. Verse 174.፻፸፬

     አፍቀርኩ ፡ አድኅኖተከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወሕግከሰ ፡ ተመሀርየ ፡ ውእቱ ።

     I have loved your salvation, O Yahweh, and your law is my instruction.

175. Verse 175.፻፸፭

     ትሕየወኒ ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ወእሰብሐከ ፤ ወይርድአኒ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ዚአከ ።

     Let my soul live, and I will praise you, and let your ordinances help me.

176. Verse 176.፻፸፮

     ተረሳዕኩ ፡ ከመ ፡ በግዕ ፡ ዘተገድፈ ፡ ኅሥሦ ፡ ለገብርከ ፡ እስመ ፡ ትእዛዘከ ፡ ኢረሳዕኩ ።

     I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments.
