መዝሙር ፻፲፯

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። ግነዩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ኄር ፤ እስመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ምሕረቱ ።

   Hallelujah. Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good; for his mercy endures forever.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ንግሩ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ኄር ፤ ከመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ምሕረቱ ።

   Let the house of Israel declare that he is good; that his mercy endures forever.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ንግሩ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አሮን ፡ ከመ ፡ ኄር ፤ ከመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ምሕረቱ ።

   Let the house of Aaron declare that he is good; that his mercy endures forever.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ንግሩ ፡ ኵልክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ትፈርህዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ኄር ፤ ከመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ምሕረቱ ።

   Let all who fear Yahweh declare that he is good; that his mercy endures forever.

5. Verse 5.፭

   ሶበ ፡ ተመንደብኩ ፡ ጸዋዕክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ወሰምዐኒ ፡ ወአርሐበ ፡ ሊተ ።

   When I was brought low, I called upon Yahweh; and he heard me and brought me into a broad place.

6. Verse 6.፮

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይረድአኒ ፡ ኢይፈርህ ፤ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው፡ ምንተ ፡ ይሬስየኒ ።

   Yahweh is my helper; I will not fear. What can a child of man do to me?

7. Verse 7.፯

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይረድአኒ ፤ ወአነ ፡ እሬእዮሙ ፡ ለጸላእትየ ።

   Yahweh is my helper; and I shall look upon my enemies.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ይኄይስ ፡ ተአምኖ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፤ እምተአምኖ ፡ በእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።

   It is better to trust in Yahweh than to trust in a child of man.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ይኄይስ ፡ ተአምኖ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፤ እምተሰፍዎ ፡ በመላእክት ።

   It is better to trust in Yahweh than to hope in princes.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ዐገቱኒ ፤ ወበስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሞአክዎሙ ።

    All the nations surrounded me; and in the name of Yahweh I overcame them.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    ዐጊተሰ ፡ ዐገቱኒ ፤ ወበስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሞአክዎሙ ።

    They surrounded me with surrounding; and in the name of Yahweh I overcame them.

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    ዐገቱኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ንህብ ፡ መዓረ ፡ ወነዱ ፡ ከመ ፡ እሳት ፡ ውስተ ፡ አስዋክ ፤ ወበስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሞአክዎሙ ።

    They surrounded me like bees at the honeycomb, and they blazed like fire among the thorns; and in the name of Yahweh I overcame them.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ተንተንኩ ፡ ለወዲቅ ፤ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ አንሥአኒ ።

    I was thrust hard, to fall; but Yahweh raised me up.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    ኀይልየኒ ፡ ወዝክርየኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወውእቱ ፡ ኮነኒ ፡ መድኀንየ ።

    Yahweh is my strength and my song; and he has become my salvation.

15. Verse 15.፲፭

    ቃለ ፡ ትፍሥሕት ፡ ውስተ ፡ አብያቲሆሙ ፡ ለጻድቃን ፤

    The voice of rejoicing is in the dwellings of the righteous;

16. Verse 16.፲፮

    የማነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ገብረት ፡ ኀይለ ። የማነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አልዐለተኒ ፤ የማነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ገብረት ፡ ኀይለ ።

    the right hand of Yahweh has done valiantly. The right hand of Yahweh has lifted me up; the right hand of Yahweh has done valiantly.

17. Verse 17.፲፯

    ኢይመውት ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ዘአሐዩ ፤ ወእነግር ፡ ግብሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

    I shall not die, but rather I shall live; and I will declare the works of Yahweh.

18. Verse 18.፲፰

    ገሥጾሰ ፡ ገሠጸኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወለሞትሰ ፡ ባሕቱ ፡ ኢመጠወኒ ።

    Yahweh has indeed chastened me with chastening; but to death he has not handed me over.

19. Verse 19.፲፱

    አርኅዉ ፡ ሊተ ፡ አናቅጸ ፡ ጽድቅ ፤ እባእ ፡ ውስቴቶን ፡ ወእግነየ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

    Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them and give thanks to Yahweh.

20. Verse 20.፳

    ዝአንቀጽ ፡ እንተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ጻድቃን ፡ ይበውኡ ፡ ውስቴታ ።

    This is the gate of Yahweh; the righteous shall enter into it.

21. Verse 21.፳፩

    እገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰማዕከኒ ፤ ወኮንከኒ ፡ መድኀንየ ።

    I confess you, O Yahweh, for you have heard me; and you have become my salvation.

22. Verse 22.፳፪

    እብን ፡ ዘመነንዋ ፡ ነደቅት ፤ ይእቲ ፡ ኮነት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ርእሰ ፡ ማዕዘንት ።

    The stone that the builders rejected, it has become the head of the corner.

23. Verse 23.፳፫

    እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኮነት ፡ ዛቲ ፤ ወነካር ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ለአዕይንቲነ ።

    From Yahweh this has come; and it is marvelous in our eyes.

24. Verse 24.፳፬

    ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ እንተ ፡ ገብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ንትፈሣሕ ፡ ወንትሐሠይ ፡ ባቲ ።

    This is the day that Yahweh has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

25. Verse 25.፳፭

    ኦእግዚኦ ፡ አድኅንሶ ፤ ኦእግዚኦ ፡ ሠርሐሶ ።

    O Yahweh, save now; O Yahweh, grant prosperity now.

26. Verse 26.፳፮

    ቡሩክ ፡ ዘይመጽእ ፡ በስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ በረክናክሙ ፡ እምቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

    Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahweh; we have blessed you from the house of Yahweh.

27. Verse 27.፳፯

    እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ወአስተርአየ ፡ ለነ ፤ ግበሩ ፡ በዓለ ፡ በትፍሥሕት ፡ በኀበ ፡ እለ ፡ ያስተሓምምዎ ፡ እስከ ፡ አቅርንቲሁ ፡ ለምሥዋዕ ።

    Yahweh is God, and he has appeared to us; keep the feast with rejoicing among those who throng to him, up to the horns of the altar.

28. Verse 28.፳፰

    አምላኪየ ፡ አንተ ፡ ወእገኒ ፡ ለከ ፤ አምላኪየ ፡ አንተ ፡ ወኣሌዕለከ ። እገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰማዕከኒ ፡ ወኮንከኒ ፡ መድኀንየ ።

    You are my God, and I confess you; you are my God, and I will exalt you. I confess you, O Yahweh, for you have heard me and have become my salvation.

29. Verse 29.፳፱

    ግነዩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ኄር ፤ እስመ ፡ ለዓለም፡ ምሕረቱ ።

    Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good; for his mercy endures forever.
