1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። አመንኩ ፡ በዘነበብኩ ፤ ወአንሰ ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ ሐመምኩ ።

   Hallelujah. I believed, and so I spoke; but as for me, I was greatly afflicted.

2. Verse 2.፪

   አንሰ ፡ አቤ ፡ እምግዕዝየ ፤ ኵሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ሐሳዊ ፡ ውእቱ ።

   As for me, I said in my [dismay]: Every human being is a liar.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ምንተኑ ፡ አዐስዮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ በእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ሊተ ።

   What shall I repay to Yahweh for all that he has done for me?

4. Verse 4.፬

   ጽዋዐ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ እትሜጦ ፤ ወስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እጼውዕ ።

   I will take up the cup of life, and I will call on the name of Yahweh.

5. Verse 5.፭

   [ወእሁብ ፡ ብፅአትየ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ በቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝቡ ።]

   [And I will render my vows to Yahweh in the presence of all his people.]

6. Verse 6.፮

   ክብር ፡ ሞቱ ፡ ለጻድቅ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   Precious is the death of the righteous one before Yahweh.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እግዚኦ ፡ አነ ፡ ገብርከ ፤ ገብርከ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አመትከ ፤ ወሰበርከ ፡ መዋቅሕትየ ።

   O Yahweh, I am your servant; your servant, the son of your maidservant; and you have broken my chains.

8. Verse 8.፰

   ለከ ፡ እሠውዕ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ስብሓት ፤ [ወስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እጼውዕ ፡]

   To you I will offer a sacrifice of praise; [and I will call on the name of Yahweh,]

9. Verse 9.፱

   ወእሁብ ፡ ብፅአትየ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ በቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝቡ ።

   and I will render my vows to Yahweh in the presence of all his people,

10. Verse 9.፱

    በዐጸደ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወበማእከሌኪ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ።

    in the courts of the house of Yahweh, in your midst, O Jerusalem.
