መዝሙር ፻፲፪

1. Verse 1.፩

   ሀሌሉያ ። ሰብሕዎ ፡ አግብርቲሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ወሰብሑ ፡ ለስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

   Hallelujah. Praise him, you servants of Yahweh; and praise the name of Yahweh.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ወይኩን ፡ ብሩከ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ እምይእዜ ፡ ወእስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።

   And let the name of Yahweh be blessed, from now and forever.

3. Verse 3.፫

   እምሥራቀ ፡ ፀሐይ ፡ ወእስከነ ፡ ዐርብ ፤ ይትአኰት ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

   From the rising of the sun even to its setting, the name of Yahweh is to be praised.

4. Verse 4.፬

   ልዑል ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ ወውስተ ፡ ሰማያት ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ።

   Yahweh is exalted above all the nations; and his glory is in the heavens.

5. Verse 5.፭

   መኑ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፤ ዘይነብር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አርያም ።

   Who is like Yahweh our God, who dwells on high,

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወይሬኢ ፡ ዘበታሕቱ ፤ በሰማይኒ ፡ ወበምድርኒ ።

   and looks upon what is below, in heaven and on earth?

7. Verse 7.፯

   ዘያነሥኦ ፡ ለነዳይ ፡ እምድር ፤ ወያሌዕሎ ፡ እመሬት ፡ ለምስኪን ።

   He raises up the poor from the earth, and lifts up the needy from the dust,

8. Verse 8.፰

   ከመ ፡ ያንብሮ ፡ ምስለ ፡ መላእክቲሁ ፤ ወምስለ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ሕዝቡ ።

   that he may seat him with princes, and with the princes of his people;

9. Verse 9.፱

   ዘያነብራ ፡ ለመካን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤቱ ፤ ወያስትፌሥሓ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ውሉድ ።

   who settles the barren woman in his house, and makes her glad as a mother of children.
