መዝሙር ፻፱

1. Verse 1.፩

   መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። ይቤሎ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ለእግዚእየ ፡ ንበር ፡ በየማንየ ፤ እስከ ፡ ኣገብኦሙ ፡ ለጸላእትከ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ መከየደ ፡ እገሪከ ።

   A psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool beneath your feet.

2. Verse 2.፪

   በትረ ፡ ኀይል ፡ ይፈኑ ፡ ለከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እምጽዮን ፤ ወትኴንን ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ጸላእትከ ።

   Yahweh shall send forth for you a rod of power out of Zion; and you shall rule in the midst of your enemies.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ምስሌከ ፡ ቀዳማዊ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ኀይል ። ወብርሃኖሙ ፡ ለቅዱሳን ፡ ወለድኩከ ፡ እምከርሥ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ኮከበ ፡ ጽባሕ ።

   With you is the dominion in the day of your power. And the light of the holy ones—I have begotten you from the womb, before the morning star.

4. Verse 4.፬

   መሐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢይኔስሕ ፤ አንተ ፡ ካህኑ ፡ ለዓለም ፤ በከመ ፡ ሢመቱ ፡ ለመልከ ፡ ጼዴቅ ።

   Yahweh has sworn, and will not repent: You are the priest forever, after the order of the appointment of Melchizedek.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ በየማንከ ፤ ይቀጠቅጦሙ ፡ ለነገሥት ፡ በዕለተ ፡ መዐቱ ።

   Yahweh is at your right hand; he shall crush kings in the day of his wrath.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ወይኴንኖሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ወያበዝኅ ፡ አብድንተ ፤ ወይሰብር ፡ አርእስተ ፡ ብዙኃን ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ።

   And he shall judge the nations, and shall multiply the corpses; and he shall shatter the heads of many upon the earth.

7. Verse 7.፯

   እምውሒዝ ፡ ሰትዩ ፡ ማየ ፡ በፍኖት ፤ ወበእንተዝ ፡ ይትሌዐል ፡ ርእስ ።

   He drank water from the torrent on the way; and because of this he shall lift up his head.
