መዝሙር ፻፯

1. Verse 1.፩

   ማኅኬት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ።

   A song; a psalm of David.

2. Verse 2.፪

   ጥቡዕ ፡ ልብየ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ጥቡዕ ፡ ልብየ ፤ እሴብሕ ፡ ወእዜምር ፡ ወይትነሣእ ፡ ክብርየ ።

   My heart is steadfast, O Yahweh, my heart is steadfast; I will praise and I will sing, and my glory shall arise.

3. Verse 3.፫

   ወእትነሣእ ፡ በመዝሙር ፡ ወበመሰንቆ ፤ ወእትነሣእ ፡ በጽባሕ ።

   And I will arise with the psaltery and with the harp; and I will arise at dawn.

4. Verse 4.፬

   እገኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወእዜምር ፡ ለከ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ሕዝብ ።

   I will give thanks to you among the nations, O Yahweh; and I will sing to you among the peoples.

5. Verse 5.፭

   እስመ ፡ ዐብየት ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰማያት ፡ ምሕረትከ ፤ ወእስከ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ጽድቅከ ።

   For your mercy is great, reaching to the heavens; and your righteousness reaches to the clouds.

6. Verse 6.፮

   ተለዐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ ሰማያት ፤ ወበኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ።

   Be exalted, O Yahweh, above the heavens; and let your glory be over all the earth.

7. Verse 7.፯

   ከመ ፡ ይድኀኑ ፡ ፍቁራኒከ ፤ አድኅን ፡ በየማንከ ፡ ወስምዐኒ ።

   That your beloved ones may be delivered, save with your right hand, and hear me.

8. Verse 8.፰

   እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነበበ ፡ በመቅደሱ ፡ እትሐሠይ ፡ ወእትካፈል ፡ ሰቂማ ፤ ወእሳፈር ፡ አዕጻዳተ ፡ ቈላት ።

   Yahweh has spoken in his sanctuary: I will rejoice, and I will divide Shechem; and I will measure out the courts of the valleys.

9. Verse 9.፱

   ዚአየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ገላዐድ ፡ ወዚአየ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ወኤፍሬም ፡ ስዋቀ ፡ ርእስየ ፤ ወይሁዳ ፡ ንጉሥየ ።

   Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head; and Judah is my king.

10. Verse 10.፲

    ወሞአብ ፡ ካህን ፡ ተስፋየ ፤ ዲበ ፡ ኢዶምያስ ፡ እሰፍሕ ፡ መካይድየ ፤ ሊተ ፡ ይገንዩ ፡ አሎፍሊ ።

    And Moab is the priest of my hope; over Edom I will stretch out my sandal; the foreigners have submitted to me.

11. Verse 11.፲፩

    መኑ ፡ ይወስደኒ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ጥቅም ፤ ወመኑ ፡ ይመርሐኒ ፡ እስከ ፡ ኢዶምያስ ።

    Who will lead me to the fortified city? And who will guide me as far as Edom?

12. Verse 12.፲፪

    አኮኑ ፡ አንተ ፡ ዘገዳፍከነ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወኢትወፅእ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኀይልነ ።

    Was it not you, O Yahweh, who cast us off? And you do not go out, O our God, with our forces.

13. Verse 13.፲፫

    ሀበነ ፡ ረድኤተ ፡ በምብዳቤነ ፤ ወከንቱ ፡ ተአምኖ ፡ በሰብእ ።

    Give us help in our affliction; for vain is the trust in man.

14. Verse 14.፲፬

    በእግዚአብሔር ፡ ንገብር ፡ ኀይለ ፤ ወወእቱ ፡ ያኀስሮሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይሣቅዩነ ።

    In Yahweh we shall do mightily; and he it is who will bring low those who afflict us.
